Omg! I am the definition of no stress. I joined this gym over a year ago or so. I don't even remember because that is the kind of client I am. I got the highest package with the massages,classes, and also access to the trainer once a month. I have never done the classes or even gone for the monthly assessment. Again,that's the kind of low maintenance client I am. The kind that gyms make money off of because they don't go to the gym as often .yes,that kind! And that's why this hurts me to the core. I have only been to the manager's office TWICE. Claire.... Omg! The first time was when I left my SONY headphones and asked for help in using the cameras. She literally shushed me and told me it was gone. The trainer even mentioned that we had a lot of Framingham residents that come here, so it's probably been stolen. What do you have the cameras for..if you cannot even.look. or did you take them? She offered no help whatsoever! None! I went away and counted my loss The second time was when I wanted to use the massage chair at one of my VERY infrequent visits to the gym. I saw she had someone,a new client ,in her office . The minute she saw me approaching her and pointed in the massage chair direction. She told me..oh, it's down,sorry..Whaaaaaaaaat???? I just saw someone leave.. The massage door was open, and there was no error message on the machine. it was a fob issue which always happens to me ( they swipe my money every month but never fix my problems?) The thought that she could lose a new client because she looked to help an existing client had shivers down her spine that she had to lie and brush me off so I could leave . I was furious because I never complained or even asked for anything extra, but this time,this infuriated me because it was obvious that she didn't own the business Claire,do you know how much it takes to get a new client? Do you know your customer acquisition cost? Compared to keeping an old one. I waited outside her office for another 10 minutes ONLY to cancel my subscription cos I was done! Vented to a friend, and she said to calm down, and I would be costing the owner business because of an employee. Claire, for decades, I have dealt with all sorts of customers, and my dear,you do need training. Your behavior today was really rude and terrible! Unsure if my color had anything to do with it..cos with all the glowing remarks here,I find it hard to believe that you treated me.different. Shalom!

Read moreMy wife and I first went to this gym almost 2 years ago and it wasn’t that good so we transferred all the other gym was worse. Well my wife and I since we live in Ashland decided to come back to Ashland because first of all, Clara does keep the place very clean compared to what it was like two years ago she has done a phenomenal job to change it to make it look really well. Also, when we decided to come back we could see a big difference in the gym. Clara has seen us and she will always say hello. Well today we walked in and she said to me thank you for noticing what I’m doing around here to keep the place clean and she says because of your message I’m trying to do a better job. I want to do more and also she knows that I’m a veteran. She’s very supportive of my wife and I! We told her what the problems were in the gym and one of the reasons why we left and she did tell as she was sorry she said anytime you have problems. Let me know, and we know Clara was very sincere about this. It’s actually the best I have ever seen her since I’ve known her. She’s at her very best. Both my wife and I were telling her what we were experiencing and she was really compassionate and also very interested in making things different. What we have seen about Clara. She’s not a fake. She also said when you two left the gym I was very upset because you two are very nice people and I’m also glad that the both of you are back. She says I love seeing the two of you here well, she means it so we are glad to be back at this gym. I was able to share with some of the stuff I walked through in the Middle East with her again she’s very supportive of the Veterans. I also know the owner Anderson who is a great guy. Clara might not understand a lot about PTSD but I can tell you right now. My wife and I really do like her because she also said I’m so happy that you two came back to the gym, she said she also missed us so you know again she’s not fake so if anybody’s looking for a good place to work out come here if you have an issue with people talking on the phone or people dropping equipment which I have seen like her know and she will fix the problem if she can she will do the best she can. She wanted to get us into a two year contract and my husband said no she’s a hard seller also after he said, no, he comes out and says after we signed up, I want you to give me a good rating so I can get a pay raise, and if I don’t get a good rating to my boss, yell at me, well there’s more to it. People are always on the phone at the gym no matter how much we complain to the manager. She doesn’t do anything about it. It’s very rude To all the other members. Plus half these people don’t clean up after themselves in the gym. It’s a very dirty gym these young people here they don’t wipe down the equipment afterwards they just leave The manager does not enforce it, no matter how much to complain to her. She said she’s gonna do something, but she never does. I want to use the ladies room and it was disgusting. This is a dirty! Managers also very arrogant. We don’t even talk to her. We have seen towels all over the floor at the gym. I know she doesn’t have it easy to keep up with keep everything clean but still she should do a much better job. My husband tells it the way it is being a Army Veteran for 20 years And I was raised by Korean War veteran myself. My husband told me that Anderson who owns this gym is a real nice guy, but basically his manager who’s running The Gym is an idiot and also useless she should be fired. They need to enforce not using the phone while in the gym exercising. No matter how much we complain. Clara does not do anything about it. Well that’s not right we get in the gym. We get stressed out because of it. We’re there to work out not listen to somebody talk on the phone, my husband and I transfer to another gym at Anytime Fitness because this gym is horrible.
