I came into the Ashbrook scholar program as a stubborn economics guy, and honestly my introduction to Ashbrook changed my life. I signed up for my minor in political economy at the time, and I thought it'd be good to get a dose of everything. I never thought I'd fall in love with political science, after all it seemed like just politics and bickering, but the introduction to Aristotle and Xenophon and these classical thinkers completely did a 180 with me.
