Walgreens — Local services in Ashland

Absolutely terrible service. One day last week I decided to refill mine and my wife's prescriptions via the phone app. It gave me a a time and date to choose from based on their first available pick up time, which was 3 days later. After confirming the information and hitting submit, it told me that that they would be ready for pick up at the time selected. So fast forward to that day, I did not manage to pick them up at the specified time due to work, however I did arrive an hour before they closed. Upon arrival, the line was outrageous but seeing as how a couple months prior, they changed their hours to being closed on the weekend, I had no choice to wait in line. After 15 minutes of waiting, finally get to the counter to find out that none of them are ready for either me or my wife. They said they can have them ready in 30-40 minutes and if I would like to wait. Well, like I said I had no choice or I would have to wait until Monday.

Fast forward to this week, wife and I had doctors appointments this morning and new prescriptions to be filled which were sent early this morning around 10am. We arrived at the pharmacy at 4:15 and shocker, none of them are ready. They asked if we would like to wait 34-40 minutes.. And of course the dilemma of waiting that amount of time or another two days. When we arrived there wasn't a soul in sight in the store with at least 5 people behind the counter "working".

WOW, I ALMOST WAS GOING TO FEEL BAD LEAVING THIS REVIEW UNTIL I READ ALL THE OTHER REVIEWS WHERE THEY WERE TREATED THE SAME. THIS WAS ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND I AM NOT SPEAKING FOR EVERY WALGREEN'S PHARMACY JUST THIS ONE. MY EXPERIENCES WITH WALGREENS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN GREAT. THIS PHARMACY COULD HAVE CARED LESS THAT I WAS LEAVING THE NEXT DAY FOR A TRIP AND NEEDED MY PRESCRIPTION FILLED BEFORE I LEFT. OUR TRIP WAS DELAYED AND EVEN THE DR THAT CALLED IN THE MEDICINE EVEN HAD ISSUES WITH THEM. SO CONCERNING FOR AN ELDERLY PERSON WHERE THEY DON'T CARE IF THEY RECEIVE THEIR MEDICINE IN A TIMELY MANNER. I'M YOUNGER AND IT ONLY DELAYED MY TRIP. WHEN PICKING UP YOUR MEDICINE WITH NO DRIVE THRU IS VERY UNORGANIZED. THERE IS ONE LINE AND JUST TREAT YOU AS A NUMBER. I HOPE FOR THE SAKE OF ANYONE SICK THIS WOULD GET BETTER FOR OTHERS THAT HAVE TO USE THIS LOCATION. I WILL NOT. I WILL DRIVE FARTHER TO RECEIVE GREAT...
