Best Publix in Oconee-Athens area. Facility is super clean & shelves always stocked. Sam is an awesome young man I've enjoyed being my 'right hand man' for many, many years. He goes above & beyond to help me whenever he sees me. Beth is my cashier of preference!! Management, Deli, bakery & meat department are wonderful. However, I purchased a ton of crab & shrimp here for decades until 2015; don't anymore. Between 2015 & 2016 the regular workers in the seafood department dissapeared. They were outstanding!!The new clerk was rude, hated her job & customers. Pretty sure she is gone now--but her damage was done & lingers. Wish you could find those old fashioned folks that loved providing extraordinary customer service for the seafood...
