Hyde Farms Meat Market — Local services in Athens

This little market is located next to a car repair shop. While waiting my boyfriend and I saw this little shop and stopped in. We moved to Tennessee from Chicago and were hoping to buy Skirt steak. Luckily Hyde Farms had it. This review would have been 5 stars but all the skirt steak is cut into thin small pieces. In Chicago skirt steak is featured at all breakfast restaurants. The skirt steak is so long it has to be folded over to fit on the plate. We sold skirt steak for over 13 years and were actually expecting better quality in Tennessee since it's farm country. Don't get me wrong, the flavor was good but the cut/s not so much. We searched again for skirt steak at the Greenback location and the cuts were exactly the same. Service in Athens was excellent!
