I tried lol. I believe it was the first time I tried bringing people to the restaurant I brought my family and boyfriend into the Empty restaurant and the lady behind the counter called out to let us know that if we had a large crowd we had to call it in ahead of time, she seemed proud of herself for letting us know we were inconveniencing them. I was kind of embarrassed by this because I was the one to suggest we go since it is one of the cleaner seeming mexi wings and the food is tasty. I wasn’t sure how to respond to her I think I just expressed that I wasn’t aware that was a rule and she kind of acted like she was gracious enough to forgive us this once and that we can be seated. Another time I went with my boyfriend, his brother and a friend, the waitress was very shy, monotone and we were trying to be friendly but she just seemed like she’d rather be anywhere else. Which my boyfriend thought she didn’t like us, I’m not sure, she seemed inexperienced as a waitress so I thought she was just self conscious. Either way, it seemed to everyone at the table she didn’t want to be there, and made an otherwise good night feel awkward and uncomfortable. I’ve been other times and tried to like it but it just seems like the wait staff doesn’t want to be there, and I think the feeling is that they wish we would go away which isn’t exactly the environment that you want to sit...
Read moreMy husband and I visited on a Thursday, mind you it was after 6 pm an there was only one other couple in the whole place. It took about 10 minutes to just get our drinks(dr.pepper&tea) an chips/salsa. We ordered our food for the evening as soon as she brought these items to our table. We waited another 40 minutes to just get 10 wings an fries for my husband an then chicken chimichanga for myself. Along with it taking that amount of time to get the food we also had to walk to the counter an ask for refills because the two waitresses were doing other things( one was on her phone an the other was standing at the registers doing nothing.) I love the food itself its always delicious but you would think with only 2 couples in the whole restaurant it wouldn't take a total of 50 minutes to have food on the table. I understand people complain an grip all the time but I for one have much respect for people who work in the public an food industry however if you have 4 employees (2 cooks an 2 waitresses) an only 4 people total in a restaurant their is absolutely no reason to wait that long for food little less those same customers having to get up an ask for...
Read moreJust preface everything; the food was fine, didn't take too long to get our orders, and it was maybe the best chips and salsa I've had at restaurant in a long time. The table we sat at was clean and the restaurant looked fine.
I came in shortly after they had opened and 2 staff members sat a table up front eating. I know everyone has to eat but choosing to do so right after opening is kind of questionable. After standing awkwardly at the front wondering if we should seat ourselves one of the staff members at the table spoke up and told us to take a seat. Looking around not even the cooks in the visible kitchen area were wearing masks.
Service was ok but not only was our waitress not wearing a mask but after she took our orders she sat back down and continued to eat until our food was ready, wherein she got up without washing her hands and brought us our food. When we went to the register in order to pay the second staff member finally got up from the table they were eating at to take...
