Called to find out how much waist length senegalese twists were as advertised on their instagram page. I was quoted $160 over the phone. Cool, So I decided to go the next day. Get to the shop, tell the lady what I want she says okay have a seat and quotes me $250. What?! I told her when I called the day before the lady who answered told me $160. She immediately catches an attitude with me and starts speaking in a different language to one of the other braiders. I had prior engagements for that day so I opted to stay and pay the $250 because according to IG the work looked good. I had 2 people on my head, one in the front and one on the back. Got home later that evening and noticed my ends were uneven. The twists in the front were way shorter than the back and overall they didn’t even try to make the lengths of the twists even all around my head. That’s not the end. Within 1 week, I had about 8 twists come out. Week 2 I lost another 4. Not to mention whatever kind of hair they put it my head the ends started to look nappy within the first week. I have gotten twists so many times and have NEVER had the ends of the hair get nappy. Needless to say, that was $250 wasted because the twists didn’t even last 4 weeks. I will NEVER...

I went in on Monday May 31st and spent $250 to get my hair braided waist length. 8 braids fell out the next day went I took my hair tie off, I work 2 jobs through the week and couldn’t get in sooner by Friday I have 20 braids that have fallen out all together. I call to tell them and she stated that after 2 days I have to pay for it. I just spent $250 for you to braid my hair 4 days ago, Why do I have to pay for it. They will never never ever get my business again. If I could rate them lower I would. But I should have known better when I was the only one there in the shop and all the other braiding shops in the area was full with 2-3 hours wait and people rather have waited for 2-3 hours instead of going to Amy’s braiding shop. Bad enough my hair wasn’t what I asked for and I still paid but now you won’t fix the mess you did!!!! I repeat even if you are in a hurry and need something quick DO NOT GO HERE!!! Horrible horrible service...I paid 250 for Senegalese twist... when I asked for micro twist Waist length once I arrived 3-4 women tried to convince me to change my hair style because they didn’t want to be there all day doing the style I called and requested the day before . I sat for 9-10 hours because it was only one twister... ok so I go home and BOOM one braid has come out. I wait one more day 6 have fallen out. So I call them and let them know I’m coming back , the 3rd day I had a sandwich ziplock bag FULL OF TWIST . I messaged them many many times and got no response. I called today and the OWNER says I would have to pay to have any braids put back in my head and it’s only been 21 days.. smh don’t waste your money ladies please find another shop the reviews beneath are Lies... don’t believe me try them out and see SMH SMH NEVER AGAIN...
