I can't say enough great things about Hannah Lyons and her new salon home, Forte. Hannah is a stylist who genuinely does what she does to make others feel good, not just on the outside, but on the inside as well. She's an amazing listener and gives thoughtful advice, and she has the ability to read the room—whether you need deep conversation or just peaceful silence, she’s there for it. Honestly, even if her hair skills were just average, I would still go to her. But let me tell you, they are far from average. Her skills are beyond her years—she is truly in love with her craft, and it shows in every cut, color, and style. Hannah, just as a person is so good, that the FANTASTIC hair is almost like the cherry on top.

I'm thrilled she chose Forte as her new salon home, and for good reason. What Emma, the owner, stands for is nothing short of beautiful. Forte is about creating a space where hairstylists like Hannah can thrive doing what they love. The salon industry can be surprisingly toxic, with business owners often exploiting hardworking professionals for their own gain. But not at Forte. Emma has created an environment that uplifts and empowers, rejecting the greed that can infiltrate the industry. You can see it behind her eyes. She is full of love, and has hand picked other people filled with love to create beautiful hair and deep connections, beside her.

Forte, hands down, has given me the best experience I could have ever asked for. After moving to the Atlanta area, I'd been seeking out a new hair stylist and when I say this place stole my heart - I mean it, full stop. From the incrediblely warm welcome recieved just walking through the door, to the overall experience in the chair, I truly cannot say enough about how great this place is. To make things even better, you get greeted by Biscuit and can get pupper cuddles while you wait for your appointment. To Madi - what a wild ride my first time in your chair was!! Trusting you with a brand new color was such a great experience and it could not have turned out better. I sincerely thank you for making me feel like myself again. Emma gave me the best haircut of my life and a whole new confidence. I went in wanting to cut off a bunch of hair and Emma made me feel comfortable enough to cut off over 8 inches (last photo is before for comparison). She really took the time before she started cutting to look at all my inspo photos (and didn’t make me feel rushed in pulling them up) so I felt completely safe in her hands by the time she started! It’s over a month out and I’m constantly shocked at how well it’s grown out, almost like Emma and could plan exactly how it would work! I am so grateful for how patient, emphatic and kind Emma was during the whole process and could not be happier with my cut!
