If I could rate this place zero stars I would. First, they are very unprofessional, full of scam artist and rude. When I first Walked in they did not feel welcoming, they asked me what I wanted and I told them Small knotless waist length. She stated 200. Mind you the only reason I came here was because my friend came to this shop previously and Told me That it was 220 for small waist length knotless. Anyways, I said 200? Okay that’s fine. I sat in the chair and they began my hair immediately. They was very rough and tore right through my ends and the braiding was very tight. The braider ask me was the length okay while pointing to my waist and I said yes waist length. They finish and i get up and pay them 200. The lady looks at me with a smug face and i am genuinely confused as to why. She says no this style is 300. So I’m upset because i was told one thing and now they are saying another. Then they proceed to tell me i have butt length knotless. Which i did not ask for. I was so confused because the braids stopped at my waist but they left a lot of the hair hanging to my butt which looked a mess. I did not ask for any of what they are charging me for. I was embarrassed because they were yelling at me and i felt played. I will never return back to this shop. FYI, if you want to hear kids crying all day and big roaches running around while getting your brains gripped then this is the place for you. Lastly, My parts and braids were not the same size. They don’t care about how the hair looks they just want your money and the job done.

Update!! Not even a week later and my knotlsss braids are slipping out of the back of the head. They attached the braids to small pieces of hair at my nape. One of the braids came out...

I went there for back length twists which are relatively simple to do. I was also a walk in and waited for about 30 minutes before someone started on my hair. EDIT: I went back and they fixed my hair for me, I just forgot to update my review. 5 stars!

Pros: Lovely shop with lots of babies which tends to mean chaos but if you’re from the Global South or used to being around the chaos of children, this feels warm and homey. The ladies are nice enough and I didn’t catch any overt insults made to anyone while I was there.

Cons: Language barrier, not the worst thing in the world but when someone is working on your hair and you can’t see what’s happening, it helps to be able to clarify.

My hair just doesn’t look good. It’s extremely tight which is painful but not unexpected, what was unexpected is how crowded and bulky in the front the braids are and when I mentioned it, I was told it wouldn’t be possible to fix. To be fair to the braiders, it was the end of the day for them but when I offered to return (on my own dime) to simply fix it, I was told it would be too busy. Despite explaining what I wanted done and showing multiple examples of what I needed it to look like with the same hairstyle I just took down, I left feeling extremely disappointed. The cost was only slightly less than I would’ve paid at a place guaranteed to give me what I asked for. Overall, I’d say give it a shot if you’re looking for something simple and need braiders. Very horrible! This place is disgusting. Roaches and small bugs crawling around and everybody walking around like they don’t see them. Very poor customer service. I️ was very dissatisfied with my hair and told them I️ was gone come back the next day either they was gone fix it or give me my money back. The lady said she can’t do it today which is the only day I️ can get my hair done. Then they tryna take it out. I️ can’t take my own hair out! If I️ pay for something ahead of time which was the wrong thing to do and i don’t get my hair how I️ wanted and the lady tried to tell me what’s good for my hair no. !!! That’s not what I️ wanted or paid for. If you paid for McDonald that mean you want McDonalds not Burger King smh. Make a long story short. I️ didn’t get what I️ wanted and I️ am very displeased and how they acted afterwards. So they will be getting reported. I️ really advise you not to go to this shop. It is not clean at all ! Those ladies were not respectful at all. Will not be bringing my money back in this place. Especially when I️ didn’t get what I️ paid for. Which is crazy!!!!! If I️ could give them a negative star I️ would. I️ just left the shop after speaking with the owner and I️ still feel like a bug or something is crawling on me smh!!...
