Stopped in around noon. The meat case was severely understocked. An employee was in the meat department. I asked if they had any bone in pork chops. He said he was working on them. Then he said it would be 30 minutes before they were ready. 30 minutes for a few packs of pork chops?? I went to the front and the front aisle where the check out stand are was partially blocked by a display and an employee. I asked if there was a manger on duty. The employee stated they were the manager. I informed her of the issue and told her that I didn't have time to wait and I would be happy to spend my money elsewhere. She told me she would check, not listening to the "I don't have time to wait" part of our brief conversation. I checked out and was being handed my change when she came back asking how many packages I wanted because she would go back and tell him and he would package them. I told her AGAIN that I didn't have time to wait and turned to leave. My husband was on the phone and asked me a question, I answered him and the manager developed a serious attitude and said "excuse me, what?". I told her I was talking to my husband on the phone and not her. He was asking me a question about my vehicle. The answer had zero to do with groceries or the store or even anything remotely what we had been discussing. It was none of her business and there was absolutely no reason for her to speak so rudely to me. It's unfortunate, because we visit Diamond several times a month and typically spend several hundred dollars on each visit on meat, alone. We have been extremely satisfied with the quality of meat we have bought from the store in the past and the price. However, over and over again, there have been issues with the amount of meat available for purchase. We have also had an issue, repeatedly with the lack of customer service offered and complete and total apathy from every level of employee. I've never had to work so hard to spend money with a store to be made to feel less appreciated...

The management is terrible, especially the new assistant manager, with the glasses, he's a huge jerk. Be sure to count your change at the register and then check your receipt for cash back charges on your credit or debit cards! This store has been plummeting since 2007, but the change since November 2014 and April 2015 is mind boggling. HELLO!?! Do the owners realize how bad their store...
