Best firework purchase experience ever! I usually go to snoqualmie casino for fireworks but it was closed this year. After stopping at a few TNT stand and not finding anything worth while under $200 I set my sights on pyros r us and was very pleased I made to 30min drive from Bellevue. Endless supplies and options across about 30 stands. It's like a mini city dedicated to fireworks sales. The Prices are great, although fireworks are a bit more expensive this year. The standard mortor pack of 24 shells (Excalibur) goes from $100 to $150 depending on options. Everything was reasonably priced and much less expensive than TNT stands. The biggest benefit of going here is the experience and that is what you have, not only because all the folks selling fireworks are personable, knowledgeable and friendly, but there is a parking lot dedicated to detonating fireworks! It was like a grand finally of mortar shells being launched for hours. I will be going here every year going forward and bringing friends because this place is something everyone should experience. It great for kids too as there were kids there having...
Read moreI wish I knew for sure which stand number it was. It was right next to the field where people can light stuff off. I believe it was called "Extreme Fireworks", but it also has a sign above that which said "Black Flag". There was some decent cursive graffiti on the front. This is the place to go. Don't be afraid to tell them your budget and see what they can put together for you. I've gone before and paid much more for a lot less at other stands, but they're all so much better than the stands at your local grocery store. These guys will take real good care of you. Super nice guys. Real good prices. I won't go anywhere else again as long as I can find their stand. Super happy. I never usually leave reviews, but these guys deserve to be recognized for their excellent customer service. The guy I dealt with had a Polynesian 3/4 sleeve, but I'm real bad with...
Read moreA chain run by employees. This wouldn't be an issue except that it's set up on and rampant on the muckleshoot reservation. Slowly, but surely it's been pushing the individually run stands out of business.
The biggest issue for the consumer here is that the chain stands can't/won't haggle at all. Basically the prices tend to be about 15% higher to start (probably too pay employees), and there's nothing you can do to reduce it. That said, the fireworks are sourced from the same mass supply at the back of the lot, so the quality of the actual product is exactly the same.
All in all, I'd rather not support the chain stands if I can help it so the smaller ones, the family owned and run ones have a chance, to make a few extra bucks. This helps keep prices competitive, has a slightly positive moral stance, and also...
