Called them with a simple inquiry if they could repair my old AV receiver and the person who talked to me was very rude and somewhat disrespectful to my situation (the receiver I had held sentimental value to me and he said I just needed to get a new one and they didn't care to refurbish it, when all it needed was some minor electrical work). Read moreI have a 1968 Magnavox Astrosonic stereo console and the power amp in it had problems. A fuse had blown, caps were bad as well diodes and resistors. Four of the eight transistors were bad also. Tom diagnosed the problem and found the schematic for it. He was able to repair it for me. This console sounds fantastic thanks to him. He took the time to look up my TV and called me right back.
Although he could not get the parts due to its age, he gave me a work around by telling me about an adapter that would convert the hdmi to the set of jacks on the TV designed for older configurations. Twenty bucks on eBay.
