Arrived at the store and walked in. The store had a lot of displays of both living room and dining room furniture. We were greeted by two employees that were at their desk in the back of the store. They told us that they would be with us in a few minutes because they both were busy with customers on the phone. My partner and I were ok with that because we wanted to go upstairs and check out the mattresses. It was nice to be able to lay on each bed without the pressure of a sales person pushing us to buy. After about 10 minutes a lady came up and introduced herself. We told her what mattresses we were looking at. Then she told us because of Covid that shipping could take up to 6 to 8 weeks. We were ok with that. She had us try a couple of the beds and after we decided which one we liked. She asked if she wanted us to see if it was available. When she came back upstairs she said it would have to be ordered. I then told her that we were also interested in a bureau and already found some that we liked online at their website. She took me to one and we realized it wasn't the same one that i showed her online, but I loved the one she showed. The only problem is we needed to measure to see if it would fit in our room. It didn't. We told her the measurements that we needed but at that point I feel like she didn't want to bother with us. I thought maybe she would have gotten online with us and showed us different ones we could order that would fit in our space. Instead she went back downstairs, therefore we went downstairs. We then wanted to see the selection of kitchen tables they had, we walked right by the sales lady and she asked what we were going to look at and we told her. She kept walking and sat back down at her desk. I was ready to buy a mattress and bureau and who knows maybe even a kitchen table, but felt I was just wasting her time. There truly are not enough positive and thoughtful words to explain how wonderful this place is. The customer service is incredible. The products are fantastic and the prices can't be beat anywhere in the world. I spent weeks online and at various stores looking for the right set at the right price. It took a whole 10 minutes inside of The Furniture Gallery to find the perfect set at the most incredible price. They had the set shipped to the store within a couple of business days. The two individuals that I worked with were nothing short of spectacular and even that seems like an understatement. I was on a crunch to pick up the set and get home to the babysitter on time. They had the set all wrapped up and ready to go at the loading bay door and helped me load it into the truck. I could not be happier with the friendly, welcoming, kind, generous customer service that I received at The Furniture Gallery. There was a factory defect on one of the items I ordered. Nothing that I or they could have forseen. I called Jeff the next day who had a replacement shipped right away and couldn't have been more understanding, helpful, and generous. Jeff and Danisha (I think was her name) could not have been more helpful. Jeff went above and beyond to help every step of the way. PLEASE NOTE the defect had nothing to do with the Furniture Gallery or it's employees, so please don't read anything negative into that. I only mention it to show what amazing, wonderful, incredible, kind, thoughtful people the folks are at The Furniture Gallery. If i could give 6 stars I would and I will 100000% be coming back to purchase more furniture from them. Read moreMy wife and I purchased a camp in the Belgrade Lakes in the Fall of 2021. We went to see Ed and his staff at Furniture Gallery the following May of 2022. We worked with Ed and Denisha initially for our living room and bedroom furniture and were thrilled with the selection and customer service. We had everything delivered mid July and the delivery was very reasonable and the drivers were very professional and terrific at putting everything together for us. Unfortunately, the Captains bed we ordered had a slight defect and was discontinued. So Ed worked with us to get us a bed we were happy with and we ended up with a store credit for roughly $1,300. Since we were filled to capacity with furniture, we didn’t know how we could use the credit. Well, this week my wife was looking at Furniture Gallery on line and saw that Ashley Furniture was promoting Outdoor Furniture and she fell in love with three pieces that could only be ordered on line. So we called our store in Augusta again and spoke with Jaime who was WONDERFUL and was able to coordinate everything so we could use our store credit to have the furniture delivered to one of their warehouses and we will either have it delivered or pick it up later in the spring. Being that we live out of state we were so thankful to be treated with this kind of service. It saved us from numerous trips back and forth and to be able to use our store credit on items we absolutely love and will get to use everyday while vacationing on the lake.
