Terrible service. I don't even blame the waitress. This must be a staffing issue. Only one waitress on for eight tables on Memorial Day. Any holiday a restaurant is open you know it's going to be busy, don't kill your staff because you don't want to waste your labor hours. The waitress barely checked in due to the fact she had a lot of tables but when she did come around she was polite, nice and professional. Our food took forever, they were probably under staffed in the kitchen as well. This review is getting a three star and it's lucky to get that. The only reason it's getting that is because the food was good and what we did see of the waitress she was really nice. It's not her fault for faulty scheduling.
Parking was a nightmare. But, it is Memorial Day. Bathroom was decent, no liter or garbage on the floor. On a normal day there is plenty of tables and booths. They have wheelchair accessibility. They accept credit/debit and cash. Prices are somewhat expensive but it's a high chain restaurant so that's not this locations fault.
We had a party of four and each of us got something different. I got smothered tips with rice and corn. My tips were cooked perfect and the rice and corn were pretty tasty and fresh. My husband got baked haddock with french fries and coleslaw. The people we were with got buffalo macaroni and cheese and broccoli and cheddar soup with a grilled cheese. No complaints on any of the food. They offer unlimited popcorn through out your dinner. That's a neat gesture.
The food was good. The waitress was good. But I would consider adding more staff on...
Read moreNot going to lie, this place sucked. I went to a location in New York a few years back and it was good so I thought the location in Augusta wouldn't differ. Boy, was I wrong...
We dined as a party of three. We ordered appetizers: spinach artichoke dip and Mozzarella sticks. The Mozzarella sticks were probably the best part of the entire meal besides the Coca-Cola and were the only highly rated thing of the meal, 5/5. The "spinach artichoke dip" tasted worst than the frozen TGI Fridays and didn't even remotely resemble the name of the dish at all, but instead tasted like nasty wet gym socks mixed with shredded expired (I hope not) cheese.
For our main courses, we did a chicken tender salad, chicken tenders and fries with BBQ sauce, and a burger with fries. The burger was actually good and so were the fries, 4/5. The salad and chicken tenders meal had the same issue: the fried chicken tenders. They taste HORRIBLE. They didn't even taste like chicken and the breading tasted kinda like, sour? The BBQ sauce was also really liquidy and didn't really taste like BBQ. Two of us ended up getting the baked bacon mac n cheese, it was actually pretty good if they didn't burn the bacon. 4/5.
The service was really good and the atmosphere was okay. We were placed next to the bar full of lonely divorced men, but thats okay. Overall, would not go back again. I would rate this...
Read moreThe portion size was way too small for a dinner menu entree. I got the chicken tenders and steak tips with fries. I thought the price seemed low at 12.99 but when my meal came a realized why it was so cheap. The chicken tenders were a joke. They were small, like Mcdonalds nugget size and there were about 6 of them... The taste, size and appearance was very similar to the tenders you would get from a bag at a grocery store in the frozen foods aisle. The steak tips were flavorful and good but again small portion size. They were about the size of my thumb and there were maybe 5 of those. The fries tasted good as well, but again, only a small handful of them. The entire meal, even though there was a large amount of ranch dressing and even a couple celery sticks, wasn't able to fill the medium sized platter it came on. Not even close. Now, I'm not a big eater, but I was able to finish all of my dinner in about 10 minutes and left feeling not full. In conclusion, the food was good, I just wish there had been more; even if it meant charging a buck...
