If your not doing nothing on the weekend the flea market is really unorganized the parking is all messed up alot of pot hose if you barely took your car to get washed not recommended to take to the flea market but lots of things to see looked at some things asked for the prices and they sell it like if your buying it from the store so watch their prices even though they use the tools they still sell it like a brand new tool watch out for the little food trucks cause the drinks are alot more than what your thinking of paying take you a little kooler and you can drink there and they did have live music so if you dance the Mexican music there is alot of people drinking there so just be careful where you drink and they do have armed security if you do have a problem you pay as soon as you get off your VECHLIE and walking into the flea market like that they can charge every body walking into the flea market its not like other flea markets where they charge you for the VECHLIE they charge per head $2.00 so just have cash cause some people there don't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUse to go to the one that burnt down years ago so we thought we would check this one out. There is a long narrow passage to drive your car down to find parking, and it was packed - which it was a Sunday so not surprising. It costs $2 a person to get in and the line was fast.
When entering, there was an odor from the horses they had there for kids to ride. There were many vendors but not impressive product they were trying to sell. There were outhouses and vendors available as well.
What gives this a one star for me was passing those cages that were packed full of little puppies and dogs to sell. This upset me to the point I had to leave. I know that lots of people wouldnt consider this mistreatment and perfectly normal but seeing them in conditions they were in brought tears to my eyes, it was horrible - animal abuse and it should not be allowed in Austin or anywhere.
