After having been recommended Mimi's ages ago, decided to give it a try today. You can smell the stir fry in the wok when you walk up. Noticed hair nets on those working and was very happy to see it. The one taking orders was very friendly and helpful, answered my questions about time for wait and how the food like lo mein comes. Paid a little over $37 for 2 orange chicken plates with fried rice and a veggie lo mein plate plus 2 chicken egg rolls. Wait was estimated 15 minutes and only took 8 to get the food brought over to us. Half litre Mexican Cokes are $4 a piece plus tax but honestly worth it. They accept cash and cards including tap pay and you can get your printed receipt automatically or extra bags if you ask for them. The lo mein is cooked a bit more for those who want their noodle al dente, these are cooked a bit past that, but are not falling apart. The veggies have a little crunch left to them which I appreciate for the different textures in the meal. The orange chicken has a delicious sauce and a bed of shredded cabbage and carrots, plus there's three hot peppers and what tasted like some seared candied orange peel in with it. The rice is fried heavily, so it could be a bit dry, but mix it with your meats and sauce and it'll be just fine. Honestly for $12-$18 per person it's a great value and spot to get a hearty lunch. Definitely a huge enough serving size that there'll be some leftovers. The plate comes with what looks like a fried spring roll filled with rice noodle and cabbage, and the egg roll I purchased on the side was very crispy but juicy on the inside. I'd definitely recommend Mimi's for anyone around the area, I know I'll have to stop here again. Oh and for those who dine in! There are 4 well sized picnic tables under a secure awning, so you can sit and be...

It’s as much as a Chinese restaurant except you have to pay for egg rolls additionally. But they are good pork egg rolls. I love the flat noodles. I hate when restaurants give you spaghetti for lo mein THATS NOT LO MEIN. Here is LO MEIN FUEGO! Which means it’s good gringos. So we got Orange Chicken w fried rice, Sweet and Sour chicken w fried rice (fried rice is YUM) and Lo Mein with all the meats. And 3 pork egg rolls 38.25 plus tax 41.50 WORTH IT. Read moreWe dove into the teriyaki chicken, kung pao chicken, fried rice, and both chicken and pork egg rolls and wow, every bite was a flavor bomb. The teriyaki was sweet and savory perfection, the kung pao had a great kick and came loaded with delicious toasted peanuts, and the fried rice was packed with flavor and cooked just right. And those egg rolls? Crispy, golden little pockets of joy.
The folks working there were super friendly, and you can tell they put love into the food. We’re already dreaming about what to try next.
This place is a must if you're into comfort...
