Tejis was the absolute worst!! I’m so disappointed. I loved their restaurant but the ghost line location does not know what they are doing. The men at window the were so rude and unhelpful. We had only gone to the regular location so we didn’t know how to order at the ghost location and they “didn’t speak English” and didn’t seem to care to be of service. After figuring out how to order, the food was absolutely disgusting! We ordered three entrees vindaloo, butter chicken, and korma and it was all watery and disgusting! The flavor was not up to par and nothing tasted like Indian flavors. The chicken was very chewy and I questioned if it was real meat. The food was so bad we couldn’t even finish it. They didn’t have an option to speak to someone about the service, they only had an option to leave a message via email. We did and got not response. I went back to the location to return the food and they guys were EXTREMELY rude and refused to give me the number for their customer service/manager. There was a guy at the window that was extremely rude and when I asked politely for a refund he snarked/laughed and tried to close the window on me several times. He would speak to me in English then claim he couldn’t understand me even though I speak partial Spanish. It wasn’t until that I saw another employee outside that I was able to get him to find someone that worked there to help resolve the issue. I spoke to another manager and he told me that the poor food quality was an ongoing issue. He gave me the number for the manager and after calling him twice and texting I received a partial refund of $20 for food that cost me $50 that I brought back. I WILL NEVER EAT AT TEJIS AGAIN. It’s very disheartened because they have been one of my favorite Indian restaurants in austin since 2016. I suggest they hire workers that can uphold their previous standards of customer service and food quality because if not I see no longevity for this once great company. Truly disappointing. I guess clay pit and Nasha are now my...
Read moreThe GhostLine Kitchen was PHENOMENAL! Me and a number of my classmates hosted our 10 year UT ALUM Reunion at this venue. Not only was Helky (Community Manager) amazing to work with, but she was there to assist us on the day of our event with any questions or concerns that we had.
The space was clean and included everything that we needed to have a successful event. Furthermore, at the conclusion of our event the staff was amazing in assisting us with trash bags, and cleaning supplies to ensure we could leave the space as we received it.
I HIGHLY recommend leveraging GhostLine Kitchen, if you have future events. They have an amazing kitchen, and tons of space for any type of event you...
Read moreAlthough I wasn't sure what a ghost kitchen was, someone helped me. I was supposed to order online but someone let me talk to the chef at Golden Eye chocolate. It is good I gave them another chance. I thought their chocolate wasn't good but I confused them with another place here. The chocolates are as good as they look. They are like edible decorative marble. Who ever made them seems knowledgeable. All the flavors pair correctly. The ingredients are all good quality. I usually see people cut corners or fall short on at least one ingredient but they didn't. However, I think its extremely expensive. When I went to their other location to get chocolate it came to 24 dollars...
