We hired the Schnitzel Wagon for our wedding reception and we could not have felt more spoiled! Not only were they professional and kind, their food was AMAZING! They were prompt and there was so much food for the cost! The food was SO good and they had options for different diet restrictions. I am fluent in German and my wife learned to say one phrase in German: “will you marry me?” So we HAD to go with the Schnitzel Wagon. It was a perfect way to serve food for a solid price at a very lowkey wedding. My guests afterwards raved about the food and enjoyed the freedom to order when they wanted to. They have gained a die hard customer. I often think about the Spätzle they served. SO GOOD!!!! We were so busy this is the only photo I have! :(

Alright alright alright. This place is amazing. Karl helped us make a choice on which plate to get, so grateful he talked us into the Hunter Sauce schnitzel! We also got a side of potato salad. This schnitzel is crispy and tender, paired with the mushroom sauce, it tastes so good! The spätzle tastes like grandma made it at home, like a soft and thin dumpling. Our side salad did not last long either 😅 it was very tasty and I believe it is a creamy dill dressing. Potato salad had a tangy taste, I think dill made an appearance in that side as well. I was pleasantly surprised with this meal. I’ve had many different variations of schnitzel and spätzle, this tasted very rustic and homemade. I can’t wait to go back!

This was my first experience with German or Austrian cuisine. I had the number 3, which had a pork schnitzel with a mushroom sauce, salad, and buttered spaetzle. Wunderbar!

I’m from Germany. Down south to be exact. I went to every single German restaurant near and around Austin. EVERYWHERE. This was my last chance. We drove all the way to Georgetown only to be majorly disappointed. I got three dishes they all tasted horrible. Waste of time and money. Very sad. I knew they were from Germany because I talked to them in German. This is nowhere close to German food, I can make better German...
