Upper McKinney Falls — Local services in Austin

I enjoyed my peaceful evening visit. A waterfall site in nature is peaceful in itself but adding a sunset or sunrise to the scene can make it all the more special. The state park is also ideally located as a last stop before a flight out of Austin due to its proximity to the Austin Airport. Visited Upper McKinney Falls on a hot Saturday in June. It wasn’t too busy when we got there at about 11:30 AM. We brought a couple of floats to sit in while enjoying the water.
