The store is clean, organized, well staffed and has the best selection in the region. As a construction, manufacturing, and distribution warehouse worker and avid outdoorsman who has particular wants and needs from all my boots, i was impressed! They really have something for everyone, and now I can't wait to have to replace my other boots haha After hours and hours of slogging through offensively poor selections at other stores, both online and brick and mortar, Avon Boot Shop was a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. The staff were so kind and helpful, they were quick to service me and a few other gentleman who came in as well, making thoughtful recommendations on features, styles and sizing. They employed good, honest sales etiquette, and that alone merits a positive review in my opinion, because that's becoming a lost art. 10/10, this is a store that actually caters to its core customers' needs. (Keep in mind, I'm a nerd for these sorts of things, so I was keenly listening to their interactions with the other customers as well) Also, the prices were very reasonable! For reference, the boots i got were $200-$225 (sometimes plus shipping online) anywhere else, whereas i paid $174 for them here. Compared to everywhere else I went (including online) ABS offered more for less, plus you can actually try them out, so there's no surprises regarding fit or features. GREAT PLACE FOR WORK BOOTS. WENT THERE FEW WEEKS AGO. THEY TRACK YOUR PURCHASE IN COMPUTER SO IF YOU COME IN AGAIN THEY CAN TELL YOU EXACT SIZE AND KIND OF BOOT YOU GOT LAST TIME. SADLY I GOT THE LADY WHO WOULDN'T LISTEN TO THE WORDS COMING OUT OF MY MOUTH. I TOLD HER WHAT I WANTED. SHE TRIED TO TELL ME I DIDN'T NEED LINED BOOTS. SHE TOLD ME LEATHER BOOTS ARE THE SAME. LOL. SOMEONE WHO SAYS THAT HAS NEVER WORKED OUTSIDE IN OHIO WINTER LOL. I SAID WELL I'VE HAD A COLD WEATHER INJURY TO MY FEET MANY YEARS AGO AND MY FEET ARE UBER SENSATIVE TO THE COLD. I WANTED TO BUY LOCAL AND SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS. I ENDED UP BUYING SOME LINED MERRILL BOOTS ON EBAY AND I'M VERY HAPPY. 3 STARS BECAUSE OF SMALL SELECTION OF WHAT I WANTED AND THE 1 BAD EMPLOYEE. I was sceptical on buying boots from here because they are very expensive.!!..I picked out a pair of Georgia boots that where comfortable in the store..after wearing them for a week they did not wear into my feet correctly..the lady there said I could return them within 2 week if they where not what I wanted..so I called a week later and and ask if I can return them for a pair of inserts that they sell there for my older boots and she said since I wore them I could not return them...there return police is a joke.!!..please be aware of this company..giving false info on there products on returns...you will be stuck with the boot or shoe that you purchased.!!..PLEASE BEWARE.!!!..I will never shop here again.!!!.or tell anyone to shop there...
