Avon Lash Studio — Local services in Avon

I went here for a few services and will NEVER return, and discourage anyone from going here! I first came for lashes, which looked nice. The lash tech ended up leaving this salon (due to the owner taking 50% of their service profits), so I found a new lash tech at a different salon. She took photos of my lashes to show me, the glue used on my lashes at Avon Lash Studio resembled super glue and had crystallized to my real lashes, leaving them weak and damaged. I had gotten my lashes done here maybe 3 times. During that time period, I discovered Avon Lash Studio offered Brazilian Blowouts, a specialized treatment that requires the provider obtain official certification. I actually went to the OWNER of Avon Lash Studio for this treatment (Kate or Katee idk). When I arrived she left me in the waiting room for about 20 minutes while she and another girl gossiped, despite there not being any other clients in the salon. When she was doing the Brazilian blowout treatment, I questioned her process. I’d had this treatment done before in Carmel and was familiar with the process. She skipped the entire second half of the treatment, and assured me it was the proper way to apply the treatment. Well, over the next couple of weeks (and months!) my hair began breaking off. Some all the way at the root. She literally FRIED my hair, while reassuring me she knew what she was doing! I have now lost EVERY SINGLE HAIR that was treated by her. Oh, and the treatment didn’t even work, my natural curls were coming through the next day. My lashes took weeks to recover from the crystallized glue. To anyone thinking of going here - DONT. I’ve been here many times for lashes and always have a wonderful experience. I love the positive vibe the salon gives and I’m always more than happy with my service results! I come every 2 weeks for fills and I will never go anywhere else. Today I tried another service called a hydrafacial. I’ve never had a facial before but I’m Definitely going to be back for another one. She did a great job of explaining every step and I love that the facial is customized to your skin type. Kate is AMAZING!!! I always leave with gorgeous lashes and she is always able to get me in quickly! She is SO good at her job and is super fast! I have been coming to her for my lashes for almost 2 years and have never had an issue! She is sweet, friendly, efficient, and accommodating!
