Every time my family and I go to the Outer Banks, visiting this store 1 to 3 times in the the week that we are there is an absolute must! What a wonderful shop! Owners/employes are fantastic and since they are constantly stocking the shop, you just never know what you may find! So many special pieces just waiting to be found by the right person. Clothing, purses, scarfs, jewelry (for every budget), art, and a few holiday pieces scattered throughout. This place never disappoints!! Already looking forward to...

The person who was working allowed 2 very rude young men to hang out in the store playing video games. They were blocking the entrance to the upper level of the store and would not offer to move. One of the young men came outside of the store and was screaming profanities at a couple outside because they asked the boys if they could go upstairs to shop. We've been coming to Avon for years now. We were here in May and came back for two weeks this time. I have always loved this store. When I was here in May, I found the ladies not very welcoming. Everyone has a bad day, so I was in again today. Same treatment. I have never seen such unfriendly operators as this shop. Not a smile, Not even a simple "thank you" after my purchase.
