Oh yes; and the world should be as it should, on all accounts. Whether it'd be a begger on a New York evening or a ankle slip on the London Cobble stone, yes the world should as it should. In this particular instance it was the dwelling of my one love, my bride to be, my all and everything. The harsh truth to us came in a form we all know too well that is the grim taste and dismay of the dreadedly large phone bill. To what did I owe such a high priced luxury, and one that came with a privileged 16 GB to work with, my my spoiled isn't even the word. No to this I owed to a one well renowned AT&T. The blue glory, the future foreseen only within the future, the one and only AT&T. As one can imagine if was not the outstanding surmount that troubled me no, but a displeased fiance whom ventured and played on the idea that switching our provider would provide us with the service and means of saving for our future endeavors. Though at this moment the only endeavor faced was one that could only be redeemed at a one AT&T branch. We have before, and again, dealt in the likes of the "Bare minimum" employee. The young man that would rather continue in his car before stepping foot in the door in order to gamble the idea that maybe they'll leave before they become my problem... The young woman who's idea of customer satisfaction is if you are not thrilled about the product, well here is another that is not only similar in lack of function but also increased in price. Safe to say we have had our fair share of terrible service before. Despite this my fiance and I dug deep and told ourselves we shall head in with a clean slate to be carved into and that is what we did. We step inside, all is near closed as it is just us two inside this questionable unspacious branch, but I digress on what doubt I may have. To the left of us lay your standard layout, phones and galore, for only thirty dollars more a month! Spare me. On looking we see the soul proprietor of our journey, and young fellow with Jean's a sweater and sleek 1950's hair comb and glow. I did not think much if this gentleman other than the fact that he was eriely tame even if for just a Saturday afternoon. We stood confident in what our purpose was and shared what we had rehearsed in the car prior to coming inside: "Sir, we are here to lower our bill, once and for all". The man stood calm, looking down at his monitor like he hadn't heard us. The breif pause broken by a sudden and unclear "Sure... No... problem...". He made one final click of the mouse and leaned into our presence taking his eyes away from the screen. "Okay sorry about the wait, my name is Jared, and your names?" I took the man for pompous right away. I knew that smug confidence to be the standard for those in such a position to help us uneducated folk on the subject of phones. Such a world we live in now, where we question more from our own doctors than our phone service providers. "My name is Dylan and this is Melissa, we would like to see if the bill could be lowered today as it's really become to much to deal with" We shared in so many words. "Let's take a look" Jared said just before going back to his monitor. Now, not to say I am someone who doesn't enjoy a patient person, but I was steadily awaiting the answer to shoot out back at me; "Sorry sir; no options or alternatives available but here's another phone at a fraction if the cost more than what you both have if your interested?". To my surprise and delight I might add, Jared immediately chose the latter as he rifled off the nearest alternative plan for us that covered basically all of what [CUT ME OFF!!] SO EVIDENTLY GOOGLE REVIEW CAPS YOU ON HOW MUCH YOU CAN WRITE ABOUT GREAT PEOPLE. JUST KNOW THAT THIS GOES ON IN ENTIRETY EXPLAINING MY REMARKABLE EXPERIENCE AT SHAVERTOWN AT&T ALL BECAUSE OF JARED AND PAIGE (WHO'S INTRODUCED LATER). THANK YOU BOTH AGAIN, AND JUST KNOW AT&T, THESE TWO DROVE ME TO THE POINT WHERE GOOGLE HAD TO CONTAIN MY ENTHUSIASM. JUST UNDERSTAND THAT. THANKS AGAIN. SORRY I COULDN'T GET THE WHOLE...
Read moreWhile my visit started out pleasantly enough, and I purchased a new phone to replace my out-of-date phone with the cracked screen, it ended badly. I did not get any information transferred from my old phone to my new phone and the attitude was I shouldn't expect any such help. I was given brief confusing instructions to get an app that I didn't even know how to get. I was left alone with my struggle and ignored until I walked over and read aloud what was on my screen. Then I was told not to do anything else, just wait. Soon they came back and we determined that my phone was incompatible with the app. At that point no further help was given. I told them I had always had help to transfer data and was told they don't do it any more. I was told I could go to Best Buy. I said I should have been warned I wouldn't receive any help and was told I had been warned; they "sold" me a phone. When I asked if another AT&T store might be able to help they said they could give me the number. I asked them to call to see if they could help me, that it would help me out and they refused without explanation, even when asked why. I gave my own suggestion as to the reason, and at that point they ended the visit. I then requested they back out the sale and return the number to my old cracked phone and they told me there would be a restocking fee of $55 that couldn't be waived. Finally I just gathered up both phones, went to another store, and received friendly, professional help and useful information. I will not ever be back to this store, probably to the relief of...
Read moreCustomer service is horrible. I bought phone from them 2 months ago and it started having issues, went back to them they had me do all the usual resets and when that didn't work they tried to call customer service. Which they said was just ringing busy.hmmmm then the girl said I had to take it to a shop they are partnered withfor the shop to the me if there was an issue and I would have to leave my phone there, that didn't sit well with me. I said it is a manufacturer issue why won't you guys replace it. Then they told me that I could send it somewhere but I might be a coue weeks before I get a phone back. I wasn't to thrilled with this since I spent a substantial amount of money at their store on new phones and accessories. They told me these were my only to options and that I had to do all the legwork for whatever I chose. Not happy. Went to corporate store they had a new phone ordered for me in five minutes. Awesome shout out to Wilkes-Barre store. Stay away from little store in Dallas pa customer service is horrible, they just want to keep upsetting you on stuff. Plus some staff looks dirty and unprofessional. Holes in shirts string hair with knots in the back. For the love of God at least look slightly professional. Don't go here go to...
