Amazing experience with outstanding customer service. In February of 2017, I was looking for the perfect engagement ring in which Bella & Company was with me every step along the way. After being highly recommended from a close friend I immediately posted a private message on the company website asking for assistance. My knowledge on rings (probably jewelry as a whole) was limited to say the least. All I knew was the type/style of ring that my fiancée had mentioned to her friend in passing a year prior and the size of her ring finger. That pretty much exhausted everything I had to bring to the table for the jeweler to work with. The very next day I received a response from Annie who gave me peace of mind in something that was very unfamiliar to me.

Not only did we go over the style of ring from the design she had created but I even was able to come in and learn about the entire process involved. Trust me, being able to explain what the Three C’s of a diamond mean, why a specific type of gold was used for the band, and how the stone would be set really came in handy. The last person on earth my wife-to-be would have expected to rattle off that kind of information was yours truly. Every person that asks my fiancée about her ring always has questions about Bella & Company since we do not live in the NEPA area. If I’m asked, I explain how much Annie helped me and the effort that went into making the ring, at that point it would be common for some people to go on their phone and look for the website.

The talent and craftsmanship present at Bella & Company is obvious, I know because I still wonder when I proposed, whether it was the question that I asked or what Annie created that drew a bigger reaction. As for the customer service I experienced? From my perspective, the level of care Annie put into ensuring I was informed really caught my eye. As I mentioned before, she went out of her way on separate occasions to explain (in person) the process, let me see where the stones came from, and described how she handpicked each diamond individually to fit the overall design. This much attention was not expected but greatly appreciated.

My fiancée is beyond words for how much she loves her engagement ring so you can probably predict how I feel about my decision to go with Bella & Company. Especially with everything Annie had put into this handmade engagement ring. In all, I don’t know enough to give advice on jewelry but what I do know is if you are searching for someone who has a passion for their profession, places an emphasis on the quality of what is being made, and will have you leaving knowing that their priority was not your wallet but instead your satisfaction, then I know the perfect jeweler. Bella & Company, located on North Main Street in Shavertown, is a boutique jewelry store that makes a variety of custom jewelry, from bracelets to necklaces, and of course rings.

Looking for an engagement ring, my fiancee and I paid a visit to the store on a Saturday afternoon and were warmly greeted by Annie, the owner of the establishment. Her cheery demeanor was infectious and instantly made us feel welcome.

We were about 75% certain of what kind of ring we wanted, and as we explained what we were looking for, she showed us to a table with a variety of ring styles and diamond shapes. She left us to ourselves as she attended to other customers. We were able to magnetically attach the stones to the rings, determining if what we wanted would actually work. After a brief time, Annie returned, quietly listened, offered advice and suggestions, measured my fiancee’s finger, and within 10-15 minutes, we were certain of what we wanted.

Shortly after we departed, Annie emailed me to work out the final details, to include diamond size, mined or lab grown,and clarity. We remained in contact, and several days later, I was back in her shop reviewing our narrowed options. Twelve days later I received the most beautiful custom-made engagement ring.

One can go to Kay’s, Jared's, or other chains, and there’s nothing wrong with that; however, I would argue that the personal care and attention to detail provided by Annie is unrivaled. My wife and I stopped in before our wedding to pick out our wedding bands. Annie was so helpful in taking time out of her busy day to go through the different styles to find the perfect rings for us. She kept us updated throughout the entire process while the rings we’re modified and sized. She made what I thought was going to be a stressful process one of the best and easiest experiences of the entire wedding.
