The personnel working here are very knowledgeable and do not hover and pressure a sale. They have an intense knowledge of the catalogs they order from as the store is very small and does not offer much room for display furniture. I ordered an ottoman and it shows that it was made and came from Greenworld Furniture CO (a Chinese company made it) in California. The ottoman lifts out into a table, and provides storage. The ottoman was very decently priced, as somewhere else would charge much more. However, the shipping says 10-15 business days. It was more around 20 for me, and Saturday and Sunday do not count towards this count. I understand the item is coming from across the U.S., but I just ordered another item from somewhere else from California and it crossed the whole country in a matter of a day at standard shipping. While this may seem a petty complaint, don't guarantee me a timeframe of arrival if you cannot hold to it.

My main concern was that this company does not check the furniture when it arrives. It stays within the box, and is not inspected for damage. I opened the box, and the ottoman looked great at first glance. I lifted the table mechanism to find a limp and broken storage underneath it. The nails had fell out and the screws and nails this was made with are very cheap. I went to pull out the drawers and on both drawers the cover came off of the wood. The nails they use are not long enough to securely hold the front. The rail the drawers slide on has random ball bearings along the track that fall all over the place the first time the furniture is moved. I managed to fix all of the problems myself, but if a company inspected their items before letting a consumer pick them up, these situations might not arise.

I recently purchased a complete set of furniture for my home from Gala Futons and Furniture, and I am extremely satisfied with every piece.
