Walt's Lynwood Center Market — Local services in Bainbridge Island

Experiences here over the last 5 years have either been great or horrible and not much in between. One woman in particular who works here has a serious attitude problem. I understand I look young for my age, but it was completely unnecessary for her to call attention to me when I was standing in line so she could warn me she'd check my ID. When I got to the front of the line, she scanned my ID twice and looked it over like it would magically turn fake. She gave me a nasty look and I left completely shaken. I've had multiple bad experiences with her since then, including a time i was looking for a product, and she asked what i was looking for. She flatly denied that the product existed in the store, and another employee overheard who then helped me find the product. She's aggressive with groceries at the counter, and apparently so offended by my asking if i could have a bag that she suddenly switched another employee in to finish the transaction. What finally caused me to leave this review was my experience today over the phone. I called to ask if a product was in stock, and didn't even get that far. That same voice picked up after letting the phone ring until it was about to go to voicemail. She said something that cut out a bit, so i asked, "Hello! Is this Walt's? Down in Lynwood?" Instead of a friendly greeting, she slowly, condescendingly repeated what she had just said in a nasty tone: "Walts Market in Lynwood, how can I help." I was so taken aback by her tone that I just hung up. I don't understand why someone is taking up a spot in the job industry just to bully away customers. Every interaction I have with this employee is negative. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the same woman mentioned in multiple...

I just left this market after getting off from work. As I entered the store the guy behind the register turn off the lights. He did not speak, greet me at all, and he looks like he was just in a bad mood and ready to go. I normally get a very positive experience when I go to this market but tonight was really horrible. The lady allways looks at me with hate and my coworkers we shop there alot for lunch and everytime i go there she is very unfriendly bought a chicken club sandwich she said it had bacon on it there was 1 half piece of bacon on the sandwich cheap made food that is over priced I do not suggest going there this is not the only review I've left on this place or this lady the one good thing is the fresh made burgers on Friday the old guy is awsome and cooks...
