This is my first pregnancy, I called in to get help with MyChart app. They told me the issue was how the office uploaded a document. I called in and spoke to Sharon. Sharon is terrible. Not helpful, talks over you. Repeats herself and talks down on you. Told me to call MyChart right away when I told her they stated the issue is with the office. She did nothing to try to figure out how the issue came about after I told her I called MyChart and they told me to call the office. Instead she told me I’m being argumentative. I recorded the call. I was simply looking for help but got nowhere. I was driving 50 min to this office because I heard good things about the Dr. But after dealing with Sharon I had to switch offices. She puts on a show when you go to the office to be nice to your face but when you need help, it’s pointless to try. So I switched to Cleveland Clinic. They are great. They know what they’re doing and their office staff ACTUALLY wants to help to resolve any questions you have. I don’t suggest going to this office. My issue has still not been resolved.

My wife and I have been very, very dissatisfied with the staff here. With the exception of Dr. Hartup, most of the actual doctors are fine -- not exceptional, but fine (Dr. Ward does seem to be good). I'll give list a few of the reasons for my rating: Dr. Hartup was shockingly rude and made us feel like we inconvenienced her when we came in to have our daughter. They shut down the office from 11:30-1:00 for lunch (I don't understand why they can't operate on a rotation) and often don't return to answering the phone until well after 1:00. Their "answering service" is a waste of money because they theoretically take a message and just send it to the office to be received whenever someone gets to it, which in our experience does not happen so we have to call again. The apparently do not have anyone in the office who can talk with insurance providers for pre-authorization, which is something that has to be done by a healthcare provider.

I've been going to this practice for over 10 years, since I was 16 years old. They have always treated me wonderfully. My previous doctor is now retired, but Dr Hartup has been fantastic. I was crushed when my previous doctor left, she always went above and beyond for me, so I was nervous when going to a new doctor. My worries were completely unfounded. Dr. Hartup is funny, personable, and listens to all of my concerns. I have seen Dr. Mullen once when my previous obgyn was on vacation, and she was very helpful too. I live on the West Side and I still make the trip out there because I love this practice.

I've never experienced ridiculously long waits, as I consider half an hour to be about standard with doctor's offices these days. I always schedule my appointments months in advance, and it's always worked out.
