For months I look foward to give these guys a try, but unfortunately I left disappointed and angry at how they treated me.

I moved to Tawas last summer, coming from a non legal state that border Montana, and I was SO excited to finally be able to try a Michigan dispensary, ask questions and really have a choice on what I was buying. Due to health reasons when I moved I had to wait until I could smoke again, the whole time I was waiting I kept seeing advertisements for Great Lakes around the area so I was pumped to go try them first.

The girl at the front was super nice and welcoming but once I was inside with the bud tender, the vibe immediately changed. First she didn't even say hello so I didn't even know she was the one there to help me. Like I said first time, so I was confused on how everything worked. When I asked my first question , she made me feel dumb like I should have known the answer and you could tell by her face and attitude that I was annoying her and wasting her time. I started browsing and taking in the inventory and she failed to really sell me or recommend anything. At this point, I was already bummed that I hyped myself to try this business due to how unwelcomed I felt. I was so overwhelmed and disappointed that I left.

I'll admit, I don't have too many dispensary experiences besides a couple of times in CO and MT, but I was always treated with such kindness that I would buy something just to thank(and tip) the employees for their help and time. This time, I just said I'm not interested and thanks anyways and I left. Went down the street to another dispensary and my experience was the total opposite.

Listen these guys are probably awesome for their regulars but as a first timer my experience sucked. Won't be returning...

Absolutely love this dispensary. Been here on multiple occasions and every time it has not disappointed. Amazing selection, with new products literally everyday. friendly and accommodating staff, cute environment, and lots of stuff to choose from. I came here and bought platinum cartridges. One of them was defective (manufacture fault) and house of platinum was being weird/shady and wouldn’t replace it. So Great Lakes Exotics took care of it for me and ended up replacing it for me since platinum failed to. I did not expect them to do this but they took care of it and that showed so much!!!! Bought a new disposable pen , the lady behind the counter said it was a new product and I decided to try it out. First couple hits were great, after that it started to clog, once I was able to get it to clear it all came out the mouth piece sticky as could be. I called them to see about an exchange no my money back just give me something that works. Was told they would talk to the manager and called me back.
