I tried to renew my cdl a explained I needed medical waiver and presented my surgeons letter stating I had just had surgery in Feb and could not pas dot exam at this time. I explained I do not want to lose my cdla. I filled put the paper and put no or N/A on some questions and the clerk insisted on changing answers on thw paper. Or I could not renew. Requests for the manager have been ignored even state police said i just need a medical waiver until I can pass dot again. Thia broad must have decided as a woman I should not drive semi because she took I t away. I am beyond angry at this point.    Read moreI have to say that this Secretary of State is the best office I have ever visited. There is never a long wait, unlike offices in metropolitan areas where I have waited 2-3-4 hours before. The longest I have ever waited in the East Tawas office was approximately 25 minutes. I would have given this office 5 stars but for the lack of courtesy from a couple of the very few employees at this location. But I completely disagree with 1 star rating from other reviewers.
