Nice people, owner was very pleasant. Salesman was attentive and seemed to know what he was doing, sometimes with the help of the owner. Other than it taking 4-6 weeks to have furniture delivered (delivery men were awesome) and having wrong item delivered and then telling us the correct item will take another 4-6 weeks after we prepaid for all items. It took over 8 weeks to receive the proper item we ordered and we were then informed we owed money, come to find out someone didn't enter an additional purchase amount. So they informed us we didn't owe, which we already knew. We spent around $4000, they did give us $100 off the extended warranty but informed us we had to buy a mattress cover or the warranty might not cover certain issues. I might recommend they put a mattress cover on the display mattresses since it feels different than when you lay on it in the showroom without one. Poor quality, made in China and you won’t be told (unless you remember to ask yourself) before hand . Then if you do find out and want to cancel the order, they’re keeping 25% or close to $850 of your money and you’ll get nothing 0 for it. I told them that I was a UAW retiree. That was their opportunity to let me know that it was not made in the USA. Instead I am told no leather furniture is made in the USA. (Which they denied ever telling me). Art Van is not required to tell you anything that could stop their sale. Blac stands for blackberry (redish brown). The people are rip-offs of the highest order. We ordered furniture and six months later we went in for a refund. Somehow, magically our furniture was on a truck that just came in and they would deliver asap. When they showed up with "our furniture" it turned out that the furniture wasn't the right color and looked to be heavily used and worn. My wife stopped in to complain and saw our furniture on display and realized that the furniture they gave us was the display furniture that had been in the store who knows how long. When my wife called them on it they didn't deny it and asked if we wanted a refund. Never again will I set foot in that store.
