Thos place has changed! Not for the better. The western fries suck now and after seeing the visual difference, no breading or anything I shouldn't have gotten them. They were gross.chicken wasn't the same. I didn't dare even order a half and half without the jumbo cup and judging from everything else. My brother and I used to walk to get a chicken box from this place since we were kids. Back then, this place was owned by Asians, who have always owned multiple businesses in this shopping center. It's sad to see that this place is now owned by Hispanics and not the black people from the community. Hispanics are not known for eating fried chicken boxes, half and halfs and fried fish. Yet, they took over. we blacks are still giving our money to these people because we are profitable. They see dollar signs when they look at us. I guess I can't be Mad that all the Mexicans came here, worked together, bought up all the businesses and are completely taking over. Meanwhile the black people who spend the most money and eat the most food, don't own anything. Sad to see. Will definitely never...

I recently visited this establishment, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it based on my experience. The fish, advertised as a highlight, was a major letdown. The unfresh quality was evident from the first bite - a clear indication that freshness is not a priority here.

The fish was cooked to an unpleasant hardness, almost resembling a texture more suited to chicken. The overall taste was an unfortunate blend of mushiness and can be notably cooked with chicken.

One of the red flags should have been the store display showcasing the fish. PLEASE LOOK AT IT. In hindsight, it was a visual cue to reconsider my dining choice.

I lived in this area 45 yrs so I frequent stores in the area. This particular place was regular for me and every now & then I would have an issue. So on 2/9 in the afternoon I came in to buy a chicken box and I must say it was pretty good. 2/10 I come back for the exact same thing & the grease made the chicken taste burnt. If you’re over frying or refrying Chicken this can happen quickly. To the store owner please pay attention to this because if it’s happening it can cause you problems later on. Remember no store is perfect but the wings here are pretty good as long as the oil is fresh. 3 stars & I’ll be back to check.
