The Garden Market — Local services in Barnegat Township

We just had the best experience at the Garden Market! We went there with the hope of picking out some plants for our front yard. We were greeted right away by a man I assume was the owner. He was very friendly. I told him I had a general idea of what I wanted. He referred me to a woman he called the expert (maybe his wife?) She was amazing and I wish I had gotten her name. I showed her a rendering of what I thought I wanted and right away she helped me pick out similar, but more appropriate options. She even put them out next to each other so we could see them together. We had her undivided attention. She made the process so incredibly quick and easy because she knew what she was doing. It was evident she knew what would look good together and she knew about each of the plants and told us how to care for them in order to help them get established We will gladly spend our money at this garden center over any of the competition! From the time I walked in everyone was super sweet, nice, helpful and warm. I had this one young lady help me for over an hour!! So patient and so kind. She brought over different plants and helped me coordinate what would look nice outside of me and my husbands new home. She informed me of everything I needed and what would best suit me for what I could handle and maintain as a new plant mom haha. Even helped me load everything in the car and put everything on the cart to bring to the check out. She did all the leg work and all I did was pick the plants out. So nice, great price for everything and I was so upset I didn’t have cash, I would’ve tipped. Never had customer service like that in a long time. Worth checking...

One of the reasons I decided to shop at the Garden Market was because of their commitment to the community. At Christmas, they had a nice setup for Santa photos and treated everyone with such kindness.

When I went looking for lawn decorations that included sunflowers, I headed back to the same place. I found so many amazing pieces and also wonderful hanging baskets. It's hard to believe that the flowers are still vibrant and full of life more than month later!

As for the owners, I can't say enough good things about them. They are caring people who give back to the community. I feel privileged to share some great chats with them and will continue to give them whatever...
