I’ll start by saying I never leave reviews and I’m not a guitar expert, but that said; I had an issue where the I had popped 3 strings in 2 weeks on my acoustic. I went into simply get a new pack strings and be on my way. The guy in the shop spent 20 minutes asking what my issues were, how it was happening, where my stings were breaking, what I tried, and gave me several suggestions on how to fix my issue. He also gave me a suggestion on what strings to buy, which have played great since I put them on. It was nice to have someone listen and give some thoughtful advice, and not make a novice feel stupid for asking questions. I’ve been going to Waterview since they first started. Great local shop with knowledgeable and friendly staff. They recently added a repair department with in-house luthier Joseph Civitano (known as "CJ”). I wanted to get taller frets on my Fender Telecaster so I thought I would stop in and see what this CJ guy had to say. WOW, first of all CJ is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. And he listens to what you’re wanting or needing to change about your guitar. He took me and my guitar back to his workshop, took different measurements, asked all kinds of questions and decided on the ideal frets. Just got the guitar back, the refret work is amazing, stunning actually. Everything I had hoped for and even more. The setup and intonation are perfect. Thanks CJ...

Great place been here many times, great selection of guitars lots of experienced people who know what they are doing, took my bass in to be setup, was met with utmost excellency and was asked everything i wanted with it to make sure it was thoroughly done how i wanted, people are great and friendly though katelyn needs to get better music taste ( i hope u read this telecasters are superb never diss teles AGAIN :( ) besides that she and everyone else are great musically professional people and anyone stumbling into new jersey should definitely stop here and take a look around they offer , lessons , guitar repair and many other great experiences for...
