Roses, is cheap. I think a lot of people let this stores overall quality slide because of that fact. However, Dollar Tree just opened up in down and Dollar General has been here for years and I find them to be comparable stores to Roses in price with vastly different qualities. I can not outright say do not go to Roses as it as had a few items I could not find elsewhere in the past, but I say it should be a last resort. Let's talk about the issues, number one in my mind is cleanliness, not once have I looked around and thought that Roses looked clean... it is passable at best. Next, is how long it can take to check out sometimes. I was once buying a three dollar watch because I needed one for some task, I get in line and wait 45 minutes. There were only 4 people in front of me with less than 20 items a piece if that. The worst part was there were other store associates around who did not just go ahead and open another register. Worth considering is the neat electronic section here, as it houses a few novelty gifts that would be the talk of white elephant. My recommendation let's stop giving Roses a pass as...
