Cape Leisure — Local services in Barnstable

I wish I could give zero stars. The sales woman was the rudest person I went in with my mom, who was looking for a black umbrella. Salesperson ask why we wanted black "people don't like black it's holds the heat". My mom said it looks really nice with the house. I tried cranking down one of the $400 umbrellas to see if they are worth the price. She yelled and that not,an exaggeration , don't touch them and told me I needed to listen to her. I should use 2 hands. I think she needs training on how to talk to people. She told us she's worked there years 15+ I think but a long time. There was no one else in the store. The Inn at Cook Street has bought all its outdoor furniture from Jay and his staff for many years. The Quality of the furniture and the service is outstanding. We constantly get compliments from our guests of what beautiful outdoor furniture we have on our property and in our gardens. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Jay puts his personal attention in every delivery and order. On one occasion Jay drove down Cape himself to deliver a piece we were waiting on. His staff are polite and very attentive to delivering the furniture and making sure it is placed correctly. I have nothing nice to say about this particular cape leisure store. The employees are rude and abrasive. I came in after the gym to check out the store and I probably didn't look like someone who was ready to spent a lot of money so I was ignored. When I asked for assistance, staff wasn't accommodating or helpful. I overheard a few staff saying some pretty rude and insensitive comments about the dialysis clinic upstairs from them. Since my great aunt is on dialysis upstairs from them I didn't appreciate the audacity of your staffs remarks about those who are terminally ill. I will never shop there or recommend anyone else to spend their hard earned money there!!!...
