Saga Fusion — Restaurant in Barnstable

Let me start by saying the food was incredible, and our server was extremely nice. We were a group of 6 people and went into the restaurant for a late dinner (around 8:45PM) after a long day.

My friend wanted to use the washroom at some point and the door was stuck, we just asked one of the staff to help us out (which she did), and once she came back from helping, was cursing at us loudly in Chinese (we realized coz she did actions to indicate that she was pushing the door very hard, which we had asked her to help with).

We were really upset with this. We left anyway, leaving a tip of 18% nevertheless because our server was indeed very nice.

We got into our car and one of our friends hit herself in her leg (which was already injured for a while) for which we wanted ice from the restaurant. Again, we went in, our server helped us and immediately gave us a bag of ice. But the others were just laughing, and one staff member even had the audacity to ask “oh did your friend drink too much” and pretended to fall. This is ridiculous. We’re not paying you and tipping you for you to make fun of sensitive things and basic things like helping out. They kept conversing in Chinese thinking we won’t understand, but their actions were pretty clear. Food was incredible but not worth going if this is the treatment we’ll be getting. Absolute 0/10. The staff need to learn some basic manners.

Edit: the staff responded with some made up rubbish that none of our group agrees with, probably just did it to justify their actions and not look bad on Google. Good luck if you end...

I have been here a couple times the first time was really awkward I am retired military and have a legitimate service dog and I was treated like awful got strange looks lot of people talking and pointing in a different language, but I tried again I brought my daughter with me and it was way worse we went on Friday and we were treated like such diseased outcast my daughter felt really uncomfortable amd wanted to leave, this place is worse than some of those nail salon tick tocks I well absolutely never go to this place again or order from here I have never been treated so poorly for being a disabled veteran with a service dog before my daughter was uncomfortable and wanted to leave, the American girls were very nice it was exclusively the Asian staff, and I for one will never return and tell everyone I know to avoid this bigoted...

I'll gi e these guys 4 stars even though I'm an anomaly and am one of 3 people (maybe) on the planet that is not an Asian food fan. Everyone in the family enjoyed it. The fried rice was much more "real" than what you'd get in the mall! The sushi was excellent and most everyone could find something they enjoyed. The desserts were excellent (we ordered the Whiskey Cake, PB Pie, and Creme Brulee Parfait. The full bar and a couple of local beers will satisfy most - the cocktail list was pretty extensive if a bit conventional. I looked for, but did not ask for, a Japanese Whiskey I've recently become a fan.
