Have been a customer of Pizza Wave for a long time now. They carry a home made brownie from a Boston Company which is simply amazing, ask for a brownie when you come in, for desert later. Big, chocolate taste, you could become addicted in a good way.
Had a food experience that resulted in a good way !! We always order the Chicken Parm with Ziti for take out. It is a killer dish and loaded with flavor, body, and a nice size indeed. We decided to try the Lasagna. It was less than stellar, try tasteless, tasted like Chef Boyardee in a can. That is not brutal, just a pasta in a can found at a dollar store. We were going to have it for lunch he next day. Took a small sliver and it was far from acceptable. Called two days later , it was Mothers Day and we were dealing with a member of our family in hospice, so we were tied up and not in a good mood. Called in to alert the manager that the Lasagna was not good at all. He argued that we did not call in, the night we bought the item, that he said, was their protocol. I argued we were tied up with hospice and mothers day. He was a bit difficult, and we went around the block a few times on a discussion, about this. Finally I said, I want the owner, he then said he would call him, "over a pasta dish issue," the customer is always right, is the operative expression here. Most places would apoligize for a badly cooked dish and either give a refund or replace with another dish. He agreed to call the owner and called back in short order about ten minutes, to exchnge to a chiken parm with Ziti. As usual the Chicken Parm was Stellar, like it came from another restaurant, which was terrific and a puzzle, why one dish, is so great and the other brutal. Now, I'm still giving a top star rating because we have visited so many times as we love this Chicken Parm and Ziti dish, it is simply amazing. We love their subs too, and Pizza s well. I understand a protocol for a spot, but ease up, if a dish comes out badly, be more customer friendly and drop the call the same night routine, it is insulting. Customer service training might be in order here. Again, we gave PW the benefit of the doubt, and cannot give up the Chicken Parm and Ziti which is just fanastic. We feel everyone is entitled to a mistake, just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is my favorite pizza on Cape, itās always been pricey⦠but worth it as an occasional treat and never disappointed me. That changed tonight. On a whim I decided to order a large Tsunami with extra cheese and a small order of chicken tenders. Online pizza was $17.99 with an up charge of a couple of dollars for extra cheese. The chicken tenders were $9.99. When I ordered it came to $40.21. Confused I went back in to figure out what had gone so wrong. Looking at the receipt I noticed that I was charged for a large not the small I ordered. Looking at their in store board that was now $10.99 not the $13.39 I paid. Also my pizza was listed on the same board with duct tape and hand written prices as now $19.99 with a $3.20 up charge for extra cheese. Well I had paid $24.19 for that pizza per my receipt. Asking about the Internet pricing they stated that hadnāt been updated in 2 years. Okay I asked why the discrepancy on their own in store price board they replied it needs updating. I was then told I was holding up the line for others. Other customers that were there had the same shock of pricing without clear posting of such. I beg you to make this right and correct this as soon as possible so your customer knows what they have to pay up...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSometimes ok, sometimes really great, sometimes just plain bad. So we have been going to Pizza Wave for 20+ years. It seems that when the right person is making the pizzas it is just delicious. When that person is not there it is hit or miss. However it has been several misses recently. Seems like there are 3 different people making pizzas there. Wasn't that bad until the 3rd person started making really poor pizzas. Thats it, we have had it due to the lack of quality control. Also because of the rude way the phones are answered. While complaints are handled reasonably well (they will make you a new pizza if something is wrong or let you keep a pizza that was not what you ordered ) but the ATTITUDE always sucks. So from Marstons Mills to Jacks Pizza here we come because Jacks has been consistent over the years. And they were really nice under trying times recently when the power was out in a lot of places. Back to Pizza Wave. Pizza Wave people: just try a little bit to be nicer to the customer on the phone and it would mean a lot. Also please try to keep the pizza quality consistent from...
