Am Echad Poconos Shul — Local services in Barrett Township

Just came back from the most incredible Shavuos weekend in the Poconos at the Am Echad Shul! We had a full Minyan, enjoyed davening in a warm, welcoming Shul, and I even received an aliya to the Torah at davening on Shavuos morning. The shul Gabbay was also great fun telling his stories at the Shul kiddush on Shabbos. I was surprised to find kosher food easily accessible, and to top it all, we were all treated to a super Pizza bonfire on Motzei Shabbos by our hosts Moshe & Shoshana who run a Pizzeria/restaurant at their resort. My wife and I had a vacation to remember and will definitely return to the Am Echad Shul this Summer! I actually heard that they may be running a Summer camp for girls this Summer…… A big Yasher Koach...

A truly welcoming and well-kept synagogue. The space was clean, inviting, and easy to navigate, with clear prayer times that made attendance smooth and stress-free. The community was kind and friendly, making us feel right at home. It was especially great for our kids, who enjoyed being part of the experience.
