Basically unprofessional, shorted my order, I made the 40 mile drive back (80 miles roundtrip) for the box they forgot to load, to find that they had pulled the order earlier in the day and partially defrosted it (or possibly left it out from the day before and attempted to refreeze it before I got their). Either way, I drove 40 miles with a box of partially defrosted meat. This all after waiting months to get our 2, that right 2 animals we sent there to be processed. Not an apology from them, in fact, they complained about the cost of fuel they spent to haul meat out to be smoked. Over the past 20 years I've used, Hottinger, Leons, Phil's, and the one down on D street in Perris, I have never seen such poor yield on a 300 lb pig, and I have never seen such lousy customer service. With that said, their packaging was clean, their shop was nice, and the pricing was competitive... But it would still be very difficult for me to...

I have been coming here for a while , yesterday I wanted some beef jerky so I stop to get some & there was a guy in line before me and get got some ground beef so they guy got him ground beef and then came to me and I told him what I wanted he went to grab the jerky with the same gloves he got the ground beef with , i was like can you change your gloves that’s so nasty and he was like oh yeah right & the lady at the register was giving me a dirty look as if i was wrong for telling him to change his gloves, who does that!!? Be carful obviously the gut doesn’t change...
