Worst place to buy fireworks!! We were recommended to buy fire works from roller coaster fireworks in battle mountain, we looked online at the reviews and saw 4.5 stars. We are from Oregon and wanted to buy some really good fireworks with a good deal. We called to verify they were open and what kind of fireworks they sold. It's at least a 9 hour drive from where we live. We asked the owner if they were the closet store to sell fireworks. He said yes he was the only store unless you go further south to an Indian reservation and he had the best prices. We drove all the way down to battle mountain and when we got there it was a HUGE disappointment. The fireworks looked outdated and the selection was slim. Not to mention WAY over priced! Like a 200% mark up on everything and wouldn't budge on the price. I do not recommend anyone to this place. I highly recommend you do your do research on other firework places. After searching we realized there was a few places closer to Reno, and closer to...
Read moreThis place has been a northern Nevada staple for many years. With its knowledgeable yet colorful characters inside always ready to help it is an environment that at first may seem a little sketchy (unordinary species of stuffed animals displayed as an example) But once you inquire about a product, or really anything fireworks related, you quickly realize that these guys are the "Real Deal" and may be considered experts on the subject matter. Their stock is somewhat immense for such a small building and the little museum cases displaying historical pieces are interesting to say the least. The prices are not extravagant and in my opinion, this is a must see stop for anyone traveling through. If nothing else, you will leave here with an interesting story to tell...
Read moreTerrible. This place has been falling apart for a while and you will see how when you go in there. The check out counter has so much stuff on it collecting dust that you can't use it, you have to just hold your fireworks in your hands while he totals up the purchase. Inventory was extremely slim, zero rockets, only a few bottle rockets. Only two versions of mortars, one of which costs over $200. The highlight of this place is suppose to be the 'museum' with vintage fireworks but it is one display case and my boys couldn't see the stuff because boxes were piled up in front of it. Make the trip to Four Seasons in Schurz NV and you will be much happier, huge inventory and about half the price as...
