Awesome monthly rates. Owners met me after hours to get me all set up. One reviewer mentioned the only thing gong for it was pull through spaces. Yes that is true you can pull thru you space, but also they have laundromat, free wifi, and restrooms with showers. Showers do take quarters, 1.50 for 3 minutes and .25 cents every minute after that. For those that don't know the area, Battle Mountain is well Battle Mountain. Little to do here. But the locals love it here. I'm a contractor and travel the state doing onsite work and Clarks is a very clean and modern high desert park. If your looking for things to do, bring it with you. A few good restaurants (Hideaway Cafe) and a nice Mexican restaurant who's name I can't recall. A great park. The nights I was there It was 40% full and was quite through out the evening. Well there was a train that came through town that whistled letting everyone know it...
Read moreBattle Mountain is not my favorite place, but Clark Park is the hidden gem of this mining town. I give it high reviews because it is an unpretentious basic park that is exactly what it promises--basic good services, large pull though sites (originally built as double back-to- back sites), laundry, restroom and shower facilities, all extremely clean, well maintained, and quiet There are scattered picnic tables and covered BBQ stations, as well as a 6 ac. dog area. While the sites are gravel, there is a paved central road. No store, no pool, no restaurant, although all are within a walking distance shorter than other park facilities I have used. The check-in is self register-- as complicated as picking a site and depositing money/credit card info in an envelope drop slot. Not a lot of shade, but the owner has planted trees that will take awhile...
Read moreVery Clean Park. However the gentleman running it complained a bit about all the people coming in for the softball tournament, and how he should have jacked up the rates. The water had a rotten egg sewer smell to it. We tried to tell the gentleman about it, and he told us it was our camper or the water we brought in. However we didn't bring water with us, and we're hooked up to his water, and that this was the first it was used since being dewinterized. We tried to explain that , and that a few other people we knew there had said the same thing, he didn't want to hear it and drove off while we were trying to talk to him about it. We didn't want a refund or anything, we just wanted to alert him to an issue. Other than the water it was a good stay. Just let the water run for a bit the smell will go away, until the next time you...
