The salesman that helped me was great. After that, this is in contention for the worst retail experience of my life. Everything had to be ordered. Nothing was in stock. Estimated shipping times for the merchandise were always overly optimistic and must have been chosen completely at random. Not one item arrived to the store anywhere close to the date given. There was never any communication informing of the delay. When I would inquire, I could never get an answer without the promise of a return phone call These return phone calls never happened. Not once. When my items arrived at the store I scheduled delivery. Inexplicably, the delivery date was changed to the following week causing disruption with my contractors and installation When I finally received my order, it was incomplete. The same process of questions and unreturned phone calls ensued. This forced more trips to the store for answers. Another delivery date was scheduled but nothing was delivered. More trips to the store to track the progress and ultimately pick up my appliance myself were required . This whole process repeated itself multiple times whether it was the kitchen appliances, the bathroom sink, or the faucets I ordered Nothing was in stock Estimated arrival dates were never anywhere close actual arrival times. There was no communication. When I inquired, I was always promised a return phone call that never happened. Lesson learned. Never again.
Update : I recently received a call from one of the managers, Cary McCoy. We had a lengthy conversation about my experience. He was very meticulous about getting details of every concern that I outlined in my original review. I was assured that this was not the level of service that TriSupply strives to provide nor was acceptable at any level of the process. This not only gave me an opportunity to communicate my grievances but also gave him a chance to convey their level of concern that they have for all of their customers. I took away from this a sense of commitment that originally brought me to TriSupply. Many thanks to Mr. Mccoy for going the extra mile and renewing a sense of trust. I am therefore revising my review to three stars and will continue to revise pending future relations...
Read moreI’m a stickler for great customer service, especially in high margin items.
Overall, I would give the buying experience a 4/5 and the pick-up and customer service experience a 2/5.
During the buying process (I was shopping for cabinet hardware), it initially seemed as though the sales team was resistant to assist. I was shown where the hardware was and asked to look around even after I said I’d already been to browse and now needed assistance with some product questions. A sales rep did come over and assist me and was very helpful.
The product arrived faster than expected and I was notified via phone. When I arrived to pick up the product, the wait time seemed excessive for the few customers that were in the store. Additionally, I was promised a template (by the sales rep) for the hardware that was not included with the hardware. When I inquired with the employees at their customer service counter, they told me they would have to email the sales rep and have her get back to me (which never happened). This was the miss on customer service on my opinion; I purchased custom order hardware samples, so there is an opportunity for a future and larger process. A template should not be so complicated, and certainly isn’t so expensive, that the customer service rep could have taken ownership of the situation to rectify the situation instead of passing it off to the sales rep. For this reason, I started looking at other retailers and ended up finding the same product for a better price and purchased from them.
To my husband’s dismay, I am a very loyal shopper. I will always pay more for great customer service and continue to shop at those retailers. I love the products that Tri-supply carries, but like I said in the beginning, great customer service matters to me, so I’ll be...
Read moreI have to update review. Tri Supply called and replaced my fridge no questions asked. I didn't have to deal with their 3rd party repair company anymore. I had to live with mess they left and broken fridge, after the 3rd party's last visit, for 3 weeks (cleaned the mess but freezer door was broken). New fridge arrived this week and Although it has a tiny dent on side, I'm going to ignore it because I'm never dealing with their 3rd party company unless forced to.
I ordered a new GE cafe refrigerator from them. The salesperson was friendly and helpful. However, when it arrived, it had dents on top door and bottom freezer drawer. The delivery guys tried to ignore it, but I could tell they noticed and when I brought it up they played dumb. They did call the manager who spoke with me and he offered some money back...but as I paid 5k for fridge I expect it in pristine condition. So they agreed to replace the doors. After waiting a month their 3rd party service company no showed me not twice but 4 times. No show, no call on 3. One day they were scheduled to come between noon and 5 and after changing my work schedule to be home they called at 3pm to say they weren't coming because they didn't have the correct door. The 3rd party service company is so unprofessional and unpredictable. Absolutely ridiculous. Tri supply can't control how 3rd party acts but they should have sent someone else after 2nd mishap. I shouldn't have to continue to wait for my fridge to be like new 2 months later. Don't waste your money, I've had 4 deliveries from local stores and never had any issue. They arrived when said, and items arrived pristine. I could have ordered this fridge from 2 other places but was told I could get it faster through Tri Supply. It's was a huge mistake. Stick with other...
