Maurices — Local services in Beaver Dam

I can't even express how amazing my trip into this store was! To start, I'm a mom of 6 total (four bio, 2 bonus) and my last one was born December 2020, so he is about 3 1/2 months old. I was still wearing maternity pants and needed non-maternity jeans that actually fit. I went in about 5pm on 3/27/2021 with my 7 yr old daughter not knowing what to expect, as I've always had bad experiences shopping for women's clothes in general, so it's been years since I've done it! (😬) The ladies working that night were SUPER friendly and so non-judgmental and made me feel welcome, handled my cluelessness about the store (I've never been in a Maurices store before) with ease and grace. The personalized changing rooms were so clean and fancy and beautiful! The woman who checked me out helped me in any way she could think of! I can't express my gratitude enough, from the two of us walking in all the way to walking out the door. Thank you so much for having these two young ladies...

Normally I have a good experience, however I haven’t been to this location in a while. I can see a lot has changed.

There were 2 people working. I was in the store for a good 10min before they even acknowledged me (there was only one other customer in the store). One lady was really short with me when I asked questions, and made me feel like a burden at check out. Rushed through the transaction, I’m assuming so she could go back to socializing with her coworker.

Wish they carried the in-between sizes most women wear. I could only find very small or much to large sizes. Staff was not helpful in anything, was never offered a changing room, I had a few things I was carrying in my arms...another person shopping was offered immediately. It's very disappointing when I have to rely on the option of online shopping and then to have to come into the store to return clothes that do not fit, when if they had more sizes it would make for a successful in store...
