Please do not put any loved one in this facility they will not be cared for .My husband has diabetes type 1 I was told he could go into assisted living care he also has slight dementia and balance challenges. He ended up in the hospital with a reading of 600 over a two-day period because no one was there to give him insulin or refuse. This is life-threatening Also unacceptable he has ended up with low blood sugars they were told that he has to have food within 15 minutes from his insulin this did not occur on several occasions. Lack of communication between staff. Told to buy everything edible. Took time and money and none of the staff had heard of that. Things are different than told on tour. We were told they would mount the TV and they refused. Told to bring in more clothes and shoes. They do not use them. Aids bring in other patients into room to toilet. Diet is rarely right. Common areas are very inviting and tastefully arranged. Good food in the Assisted Living. Friendly Staff. Engaged medical and activities people. Med techs, caregivers, and servers are attentive towards residents. Very nice grounds and convenient access to regional walking trails. Just the housekeeping in resident's rooms was meh.
