I don't know why they changed their name or permanently closed the old one on here for the RSH steakhouse and opened up a new one. Maybe they don't know how to change their business name on Google maps? I bring this up because it's the exact same restaurant. I think even the same people work here. When we asked they didn't explain the change.
My big surprise was how things have changed food wise. We ordered some nachos which were not very good. The chicken we got on them looked like it was chopped up chicken burgers, no texture, almost a foamy/spongy texture instead of having actual fiber and such when you tried to pull it apart like real chicken. Very little cheese, very little taste, very few toppings. This would have been okay if the salsa was as good as their salsa used to be, Instead it had no heat and very little flavor. When's the last time you had to add salt to your salsa? My soup was good, but I'm starting to think it might be out of a can because of the texture. It tasted fine and had a nice spice to it that they probably added. Grilled veggies with my steak were delicious, the baked potato is a little under stuffed and we had to ask for extra butter, but the steak was pretty good still.
The service was annoying, we were asked for our complete order within about 45 seconds of sitting down. One of the people's families was there with a small child on a phone with the volume all the way up playing some sort of video game was the only thing you could hear in the place. Everyone kept turning to look at them and the father would turn the volume down and they would just turn it right back up and go back to what they were doing. This was better than the kid occasionally screaming at his dad, but this should have been dealt with.
One of the family members that works there was walking around with flip flops just dragging her feet and flopping them everywhere. The noise was really annoying, and flip flops in a restaurant/kitchen? Couldn't get a refill of our iced teas until right before we were ready to leave and we were done...
Read moreOur second visit over a couple of months and my steak was way overcooked both times. 1st was a filet, ordered medium and came out very well done, not a bit of pink. That trip the fried zucchini and baked potatoes were great. 2nd vist about 10 days ago, I ordered the new york strip, again medium. It was served with the side that was up only had 3 light grill marks. I wondered what it was going to be like. I flipped it over and 6 dark and charred grill marks. Way over done again!! My friend talked to the server that she wanted well done - no pink but not cooked to death either. She ordered a sirloin and it was shriveled and cooked to death. They offered to cook me a newsteak each time, but waiting while your companion is eating is not attractive. Zucchini and baked potato were okay but not great. They gave me a free dessert each time, but O rather get a properly cooked steak. In a supposed steakhouse. Won't be back...
Read moreThis place is very expensive for a poor quality and quantity of food. The steaks were definitely overcooked. Hair in the veggies. The steaks in the loaded potatoes were not seasoned and very fatty, food came out cold. Food is bland had to over salt my food to taste it. Only ate a fourth of my plate and couldn't do it anymore with the amount of fatty pieces and lack of season. The service was great, the server was nice and the fried zucchini was good but that was probably it from this whole experience. I will not...
