Community Kindess has come to be my favorite thrift shop in town. Their prices have remained low as inflation rises. They have a large selection of EVERYTHING- clothing, housewares, books, vinyls, an entire room for picture frames alone, and a massive warehouse of all types of furniture.
Community Kindness is staffed by very kind and helpful volunteers (I think) who have stayed on staff for some time, I haven't noticed hardly any turnover.
I frequent the thrift store for books (only 25 cents a piece right now), picture frames which regularly go on sale, clothing, furniture, and sometimes odds and ends things like glassware for a home bar or hats for painting in. I always find something unique and more than affordable...
Read moreCrazy expensive for anything remotely interesting. Ebay was cheaper for several things I looked at when I checked for comparison. They charge a fee now too if you use a card to pay and the checkout person acts like it's the inquisition when checking IDs. Definitely won't bother stopping here anymore.
