Community Kindness Resale Shoppe — Local services in Belleville

Community Kindess has come to be my favorite thrift shop in town. Their prices have remained low as inflation rises. They have a large selection of EVERYTHING- clothing, housewares, books, vinyls, an entire room for picture frames alone, and a massive warehouse of all types of furniture.

Community Kindness is staffed by very kind and helpful volunteers (I think) who have stayed on staff for some time, I haven't noticed hardly any turnover.

I frequent the thrift store for books (only 25 cents a piece right now), picture frames which regularly go on sale, clothing, furniture, and sometimes odds and ends things like glassware for a home bar or hats for painting in. I always find something unique and more than affordable...

Crazy expensive for anything remotely interesting. Ebay was cheaper for several things I looked at when I checked for comparison. They charge a fee now too if you use a card to pay and the checkout person acts like it's the inquisition when checking IDs. Definitely won't bother stopping here anymore.

I shop at thrift stores to support their mission, but if I can buy the same item online for less while sitting on my couch without having to sift thru junk and then have it delivered right to my door - I most certainly will do...

Very friendly staff. There is everything you need in here. The prices are very fair. They have a large assortment of usable household goods. The clothes are very inexpensive, so are the shoes. If you have a cassette player and don't know what to do with it, they have plenty of cassettes here to take you through all of music history. You definitely will find something you didn't know you...
