Margaritas Mexican restaurant — Restaurant in Belleville

IT HURTS ME to give this restaurant a 3 star not a 5. The food quantity is a tad small for mexican food. But it is not that bad. The food is AMAZING!!! If you look at my reviews you will see I eat Mexican in every state and in other countries. Including in Mexico all the time. This restaurant is my top 3 for food out of hundred. The food is great. The reason for point reduction is the waitress. I had a 99 cent charge on my receipt. I asked what it was for. She got mean. She said i know it is for spicy salsa. I was a bit dumbfounded like. If I never been here I would I known you charged for salsa with the chips. I had never been charged anywhere. But, cool. I paid and tipped. When she brought the receipt back she started yelling at me about it again. When I got up to leave i told the manager about her actions he was evenly cold. I asked for the receipt removed the tip. I will never come to this amazing place again. The only reason this is not a 1 star is A. The food is great. B. The lady was being harrassed by a loud table. But in service we never let a group of people damage your service...

Super expensive. Small servings. Food is... Okay.

We were so disappointed in this place. We ordered a full Margarita Nachos. Half was 14.00 a full is a 3.00 upcharge. 17.00 dollars for Nachos? Those better be the biggest and best nachos EVER. HEH. NOPE. (See pictures) The portion size was alarmingly small. I actually called the restaurant to see if they made a mistake. Nope. I was informed that those were the "full" order. What was a half order? 6 chips in sour cream?

We also ordered Tacos De Carne Asada. 3 tiny tacos wrapped in foil. They were alright. We shared the nachos and the tacos and then had to find something to snack on because apparently 50.00 of food at Margarita's Cantina in Belleville, IL only gets you two appetizers. Absolutely ridiculous.

If you want Mexican food in Belleville, IL go to Mariachi's on 159. It's a few blocks from Margarita's, the quality is at least as good (I think it's better than Margarita's) and with 50.00 a family of 3 will have leftovers.

Margarita's is a rip off and we will not be ordering from this place again. Again, so...

On Saturday night I placed an order for pickup for six hard chicken tacos. After I got home and opened my food there were six beef tacos. When I called them to report this they told me they were closing and that I would have to wait until the next day. I called last night on Sunday and was told that I would have to wait until today to get my order replaced. When I went to pick up my replacement they only gave me THREE SOFT chicken tacos. I went back in an the man at the front offered to give me three more soft tacos that I did not order. I complained about this and he said that he would go make the tacos. I am thinking he would come back with the six hard chicken tacos that i originally ordered but instead it was just three. So he gave me three soft and three hard which is not what I ordered. he handed it to me and walked away fast to the point where i was not able to stop him. My entire order was $31 with a tip included just to receive COLD food that I did not order. Not once did I get an apology and everyone I spoke with was rude and...
