Based upon the reviews I might have had an isolated experience but I would like to share. I brought my Pixel 7 Pro in for a repair of a small crack in the screen which caused the touch to not work properly. I paid for and received an official Google Screen with fingerprint sensor which was installed on my phone in a timely manner. So far so good. I then left the store, but during my ride home I tested the fingerprint sensor to find that it would not work. There still needed to be calibration done by the technician with specific software. I returned to the store and they understood what needed to be done and attempted to calibrate. It was taking a while and they were not able to do it and they asked me to come back the next day. Prior to coming back they informed me that they cannot get it to work. I suggested they refund me the difference in the cost of the screen that I paid for and really wanted with the fingerprint sensor and a screen without the sensor. They agreed to this and refunded me $80. When I returned to pick up the phone, which was working minus the fingerprint sensor they said they tried to open up one last time to see if there were any loose connections and that they broke the screen, which they then showed me and was unusable. From here they told me to return in a couple days to pick up the phone which will be repaired once again. I then returned in a few days, picked up the phone and all seemed to be working for the most part. It seemed a little laggy, but it was fine as far as I was concerned. Less than 24 hours later a crack appeared in the new screen. I returned to the store to show the crack and explain that it simply appeared with no specific incident that would have created it. I was informed that it was physical damage and there was nothing they could do. I was offered 50% off a new screen, but really in my mind this screen was defective and I shouldn't have to pay anything. Since the touch still worked, but I had a little crack I left and figured I would just deal with it. Two days later, the screen went all black. The phone works, but the screen is dead. I went back to the store to explain the new problem and was told that because of the crack there is really nothing they could do. The technician there at the time didn't want to open the phone again for fear of further damage and said to come back 5 days later when the manager would be in so that he could perform the inspection. I called 5 days later to see if they were ready for me to come in and was told the manager would not be able to come in for two more days. At this time I could not be without a phone for much longer only to be told in two days I would have to pay for more service. I called once again to make sure that they wouldn't be able to help me since I believed that this was a defective screen. I was told again that they would be able to provide me a discount of half the price of the part just like the week earlier. At this time I have been without a phone for about a week and I couldn't see myself continuing business at this location. I reached out to a technician I know to look at the phone to see what he thought might be going on and if the screen was broke or just a loose connection. Upon opening the phone, we could immediately see that the replacement screen was an aftermarket screen and not an official google screen like my first purchase. The aftermarket screens are obviously of much less quality (and also not what I originally wanted in terms of quality). Also, the bracket that holds the screen connector in place to the motherboard was not there.
While the gentleman that worked there were very friendly and this is probably not a regular occurrence it was a nightmare for me. I think there were multiple issues during the course of our interactions that were questionable and I don't believe they valued me as a customer...
Read moreThis little fleet is amazing! They have everything you can think of & are always updating their inventory. The staff are super friendly & prices are completely unbeatable. I came in touch with IFix&Repair upon shopping in Walmart. My back glass was destroyed on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I thought I’d get a price estimate. I was astonished. I decided to let them fix my iPhone. They called me within 2 hours of drop off to come and pick it up. When my phone was fixed , everything had been done to success. I was so happy. I was given a glass screen protector for free but 4 stars only because my iPhone 13 Pro Max upon repair the first time for some reason the flashlight was not working. I brought it back because it had been working before and they fixed it for free. Overall great service and if I shall need further assistance with phone repair or accessory shopping I will definitely go see them! Their service is great and I highly recommend them too for...
Read moreReturned to ifix yesterday to fix a BADLY damaged iPhone 13 Pro Max. It has pictures on here (using it now) of someone extremely close to me who died last year. It was a girlfriend, to be transparent.
This was important. I started getting really depressed not being able to read her sweet messages and look at the pictures i took of her all the time. She was so beautiful in fact, I took pictures frequently of her cleaning for me, cooking for me, rubbing my feet, and being an amazing woman.
Long story short, he took it seriously and with compassion, helped me greatly, and relieved a lot of the longing in my heart. Thanks Umatt, or Matt. You are a self taught, intelligent, polite, respectful young man who made a sad man smile. Thank you for that. -MattG
David helped me out very quickly and was extremely polite and kind! Definitely coming back here for all my technical needs....
