Absolutely the worst customer service Ever. Never Shop Here, go to Lowes or any other lumber store. Was picking out some 4x4x12s and had cart right next to that bay so I could load lumber. Boards were stuffed full on shelf and some warped so played a few on floor to see if straight. Was getting ready to put a couple on cart when 2 associates picking lumber come by and move my cart across aisle and down 15 feet so they can roll their cart right next to the 4x4x10s to load 2 of them. When I question why they did that the female Ella or Elsa gets smart and says because I was making a mess and unsafe environment with wood and wasn't doing anything anyways. I asked if this is how they treat all their customers when the other associate Steve quips, let's just go, I dont even want to engage him. At which point I requested a Manager. Couple minutes later a female manager comes over and immediately the associates start telling their completely different and untrue story. Interesting that this manager goes to her associates and not the customer. I finally had it when Steve tells her he told me they were going to get a manager before discussing with me. I called him out and told him that was a bold faced lie. To my dismay, this manager begins to yell at me telling me I better quit talking to her employees like that. I was taken back as she simply walks away. I then called Home Depot customer service and filed a complaint. While on the phone another supervisor comes over and starts harassing me, taking pictures. The whole experience was abysmal and nothing I have ever experienced in any retail setting much less Home Depot that I have spent Thousands of dollars in as a home owner. The cherry on top of the sundae is that the Store Manager Paul nor anyone from corporate ever bothered to contact me back about this issue. Simply put, Home Depot does not care about customers and believes they can do without us. I will never step foot in Home Depot and will make sure everyone I know hears about this Terrible Service.
Update: Home Depot adds there little note and tell me to fill out form so they can review and follow up. I filled out form and submitted as requested and NO SURPRISE they still dont bother to reach out. Home Depot really could care less about their customers!! Go ANYWHERE else but Home Depot, especially the one in...
Read moreI used to like going to this store... however, I noticed a shift in customer service, and product presentation.
3 month ago I went to return an item, with all proper documentation, and the rep said that I needed a final Ok from the dept. as to which I purchased from. So I had to walk to the Dept, get the OK, and walk back to the return counter. The lady told me that she would give store credit. I told her that I did exactly what she asked, and wanted a total refund since the purchase was only 5 days old, and I had all proper receipts. She did it, but not without making a scene, and trying to be little me. So I went to the manger, and filed a formal complaint against her. The Manager said she would look into it.
Today This Morning, I bought some fuses, and granted it was early and half a cup of coffee in me, I grabbed the fuses went to check out, and went to the site. When I open the bag, one of the packages had been wrapped many times with clear tape, and the fuses look burnt. So my guess is that they accepted a returned item that was in poor shape, and decided to see if they can get their money back... I guess it is shame on me for not looking twice, but the first package was fine, and I did not seem to think that the one behind the first on the shelf would be "sneakily" placed for purchase. I called them, and they will refund my money later today, hopefully..... I spoke to Mark, store manager, and told him that I have decided to no longer participate with his store, since there is no one that can get a handle on product control, and customer service. I told Mark that this seems to be an inherent culture that is developing within the store, which is unacceptable... Mark said that he will look into it....
These are just 2 instances, but there are many In the past....
If you go there in Bellingham, MA expect to see associates walk away from you, if you have a question, and have fun in the return Aisle... .
This store may have a 4-5 star rating, I give it a neg 5. No star for you...Super Bad Store
I had to give at least one, in order to...
Read moreI ordered a fridge and microwave from this homedepot and the in-store service was actually horrible. I waited in the appliance with my family for 45 minutes plus on a weekend where they only had ONE gentleman working. After waiting for the 45 minutes and still not getting any help, we went to the service desk to have someone there help us in ordering the appliance. A woman started helping us and was very unprofessional and had no clue what she was doing. Another employee walking past decided to take it upon himself to help her. After giving him our information and all was said and done, upon walking out of the store and reviewing my receipt I noticed the shipping address and billing address were combined and incorrect. I went back inside for him to fix it and he said it was all fixed in the computer. I left the store feeling not very confident that it was actually fixed. The next morning I called HomeDeopt to make sure it was in-fact fixed. To my surprise the employee CANCELLED my whole order. I spent most of Sunday going back and forth between the homedepot store and about 3 different numbers they had me call to get it corrected. It was explained to me that they could not reinstate the order, but that I had to reorder both appliances and my credit card would be credited after the fact. I decided to take it upon myself and order the appliances off the website (which I should have done from the beginning). BUT the story doesn't end there. Upon delivery of the fridge and microwave, whatever company they use for deliveries actually BROKE my fridge bringing it into the house. They did not remove the doors of the fridge when entering OR take off the plastic shelves on the doors. One the shelves snapped clear off the door breaking its connecting point. They wanted to take the fridge back but that was not happening considering the hoops I had to jump through to actually get the fridge in my possession. WHAT A MESS. I will not ever buy appliances from this homedepot, or any...
