Pumpkin Seed — Local services in Bellingham

My 73 year old wife and I (72years old) bought a cord of firewood from Pumpkin Seed and paid for delivery. They didn't show up on the first scheduled delivery because, according to the person who answered the phone, "his guy" had been in an accident. We rescheduled for 3 days later. I described where I wanted it dropped on the stone driveway that was just off the driveway leading to our barn. He asked me to put a bucket where exactly I wanted it dropped. I could find a big enough bucket so I used a florescent traffic cone in stead. It was the only piece of equipment anywhere in my front yard that isn't gravel, tar, or grass. This morning the pumpkin seed delivery boy did see a bucket, so he chose to dump the wood on the tarred driveway, right in front of the garage door of the barn. I called pumpkin seed to complain. The person who answered the phone said "his guy" didn't see a bucket anywhere. He later revealed that "his guy"was him, but then reverted to referred to "his guy". I asked him to send out his guy to move the wood, because I am now unable to get at my tractor and small trailer that I use to haul the wood out back for storage. He, of course, said that was impossible. When asked why he didn't walk 50 ft to our front door to ask where we wanted the wood dumped, he only had a flip answer. It was easy to tell by his lack of sympathy that he gave two sh#ts about the trouble he has caused me and my wife. I’ve gotten mulch a few times. Never again. Need better drivers for the drop off for sure.

I had to stop the driver from zooming down my driveway, in reverse. I have kids running all over the place. He was clearly not happy, how dare I tell him to slow down on my property.
